What is the best hardware to buy? 5 cent power is good. 10 cent power is not so good. if you buy 2 s-5's from bitmaintech they will use 1200 watts at normal speed. If you run them a little slower you can use 1000 watts. I would buy 2 s-5's from their website. https://www.bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020150725135246063Xsvs9J9J06AE you will need a power supply. what is your country's power 120 volts? 240 volts? Or 4 s-3 Title: Re: Need help start mining Post by: spazzdla on August 11, 2015, 01:43:55 PM S3, S4 or S5 would all be great.
Bitmain has the S5 on at it's site for pretty cheap, they are used but my Bitmain machines have been kicking it for over a year and a half so it's a solid product. Title: Re: Need help start mining Post by: Badr on August 22, 2015, 04:13:42 AM Great start,
it feels me more than happy to see EGYPTIANS here :) as @philipma1957 said, you'll need to use x2 S5. that would be a cool start. Or 4 s-3 If he is going to use old miners and does not mind waiting once S7 drops I expect previous generations to shift some. Not sure how much they will shift but it will happen. I know I have been looking at my miners efficiency and kinda starting to plan what my next plan looks like. i was expecting S5+ since April and most opinions was about June, but it released by the end of August. Also BTC is kinda low. So I'm sure this does not make them in a big hurry. If anything I would think they would want to mine and hold some and sell when it's hopefully higher. I would be interested to see how much they hold vs sell. |
