I am sorry you feel this way.  The premine was less than 1%, and designated for bounties. We paid out 30% of what we had for graphic creation. We have also paid for the BE, but they would not accept our coin, so we paid in BTC. If you want a developer to actually work on a coin, there needs to be some funds set aside for purchases and development.

We still have 70k left of it. Some miners have much more than this.

i did with virustotal, but after installing it on my staking-server, the hoster blocked the machine and was shutting down the whole thing. only thing i did... was installing this wallet.

i ran another instance without the n2o-wallet and 4 other staking wallets, no problem since two days...

So somebody has found a way to cheat the faucet and empty it at will. Do not send any refills to it till further notice.

How is that possible ?

Not really sure. I sent an email to guy that built it to find out. When the amount of connected peers does not change and there is no web wallet like exchange, it would be next to impossible to have 25-75 different people use the faucet in an hour. But that is what is happening.

Block rewards have dropped at block 5000. Only 420 N2O per block now  :'(

That is not low,  reward of 420 coin per block is ok for me.

Well, i had a small pm conversation with dev, and seems he is working on new wallet update, which lead me that he is serious, so i am thinking to make a website for this coin, for free. We will see how things are developing, but i like the name, Dev behaviour, i made the graphics, and as soon as i find time, i will make a great looking website ;) just to show off myself.

It was one of the active early miners. I had been keeping my eye on his address since BE went up. I knew something like this was going to happen. He had about 1/4 of all coins. A few things I am working on. I need to get the images optimized, I am doing this now. For example the dashboard logos edges did not sit well with the black background, so I have fixed that, and increased the proportions. I messed up the resolution of the main icon in the pre-release so this will be fixed in the next couple hours before the pre-releasev2.

Someone messaged me that uses a netbook saying the size does not work for them. It is not currently an option to be able to resize the wallet, so I am going to build a second version optimized for smaller monitors. Until then, if you have a smaller monitor you should stick to N2O version 1.0.1.

I had a github fail  :-[  and had to remove the root of the tree and start over. If anyone needs a previous version of the wallet send me a message, I have them saved.

Tested, works as expected.

The last reward halving is just around the corner, and then we have the PoS starting soon after that. I would like to add the actual market cap feature to the wallet, now it just lists each N2O as $1 per coin. But I am going to wait till after PoS kicks in to try this, for a couple reasons.
 1. I have never used yobits API
 2. At the current price, the market cap is just depressing
I have spent more money on development myself than the entire on-paper market cap  :-\

I could add irc into the wallet pretty easy I think, but not sure if I should. I never use IRC myself.

Looking into the code for darksend and masternodes. I am going to see if I can implement those features into the wallet. I think it will work, but you never know how code is going to behave until you test it.

no mate - im not staking ... it wont start staking until it hits block 15000 ...

so just keep accumulating and let it run locked for now ...

its on block 6490 at the moment - so a little way yet to go before staking begins ...

that will teach me to jump in and run my mouth before i have had a coffee and woken up properly :| ...

hey I am out of town and will not be home until tomorrow afternoon. I see the block explorer has some really odd sized blocks, I would think these are from POS? Maybe you did not have any mature coins?

I have not received any POS also and had wallet open the last 3 days. Also I did not set the config to non staking.

give me a few hours I am looking into this. I do not have my coins here to test though, but I see some blocks on BE that had to have been POS.

Staking worked fine for me. I think there may be a small problem with POW blocks competing with POS, but POW is almost over so that will hopefully erase itself.

If anyone is having any other problems it may be isolated incident. Send me a pm or post here and I can try to help.
