I'm sure the tiny bars are too small to be easily handled, especially for older folks or people with disabilities. Putting them in a standard sized package that facilitates easy handling adds value. I understand the point of size, I keep my personal stash in gem jars and ship them individually in little ziplock baggies (similar to the ones I use for gems).
Generally the premium on metals goes up as the size of the unit goes down. They are small enough and can be had for melt value.
