Title: Block size limit proposal: Increase by a factor of 1.5 when the reward is halved
Post by: aynik on August 19, 2015, 11:10:09 AM
It's the simplest proposal I can think of.

More details. (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yirDJo6jzlFkJ5ljGrNk8ypqSeVS_hierRmOobwCtcQ/pub)

EDIT:

I've updated the schedule to reflect the current and pass block reward era max block size:

It may be simple, but how can you be so certain today that 3.375 MB will be sufficient in the year 2020?

If it isn't sufficient, do you really want to go through this whole messy debate all over again?
