Title: Chaing my SMF username
Post by: Seven_M on August 24, 2015, 04:57:35 AM
Is there any way I can change my SMF username without having to delete my SMF account and create a new one? As you can probably tell there's a typo in my username. :(

Well my guess is by SMF you mean Simple Machines Forum. And I don't think there is anything to be done there, if you made it recently you can make another one and use it no problem.

You're free to create a new account and stop using this one. Do it now that it's still early, before you post anything else.

I don't know which typo you are talking about but if you want another username and if it's not in use you can register again with that name.

I do not think you can change your username.
I think that only admins can do that.
Being new, you can make a new account, so you'll solve the problem.

The OP might've wanted Steven_M.

Name changes are very rarely granted on BitcoinTalk, however, since your at such a low rank with your account you will not lose much by simply creating a new account.

Yep, that should be what OP wanted:

Cheers,
Steven :-)

To S(t)even_M:
I don't want to repeat here what other members have already suggested, but creating a new account is really the fastest way for you.
You have nothing to lose from your current account with just 2 posts.

Badbear sometimes does them if they're minor like this, though he might as well just create a new account.
