Ready to take the challenge and win some Bitcoin?

Simply take the Bitcoin challenge the competition ends at 12am on the 30/09/2015 where the fastest user wins 0.10000000 BTC

The winner will be one who is on top of the leaderboard when the competition ends at 12am on the 30th September 2015.

If there is more than 1 winner then the prize will be split between the winners.

Hey there yes I made this app I've made the UI as simple as possible, this is the first bitcoin challenge app running up until the 30th September 2015 when a new challenge will be available.

The kind of challenges will be of a puzzle / speed / mental / mathmatical / skill nature.

Where do u get the money from to fund the prize money? are there any ads also would u consider making a bitcointalk app?

Yes there are 2 ads inside the app, one banner and the other is a full screen ad that is shown just before you are taken to the leaderboard.

I will fund this competition myself if I don't raise the funds through advertising but I don't think there will be many more challenges if this is the case.

I have already created a forum type app myself which I was planning to create a bitcoin subject and release it to google play in the next couple of days.

But yes i could be interested in some development work.

what is Prize?

The prize is 0.10000000 BTC and will go to the person who is top of the leaderboard when the competition ends, if there are people with the same time the prize will be split.

The app will display a input field to the winner where they can add the address they would like their bitcoin to be sent.

Just downloaded and played slowly, got it in 30.4s and in the 1st place out of 5... Hope I can win with more plays :)
Edit: Played once more and got it in 20.5s...

which Android you are using

From my mobile 5.5 inch display i can get 1 sec and one number means 40 sec complete time

and you did about 50% faster 0.5  sec and one number

20.5 seconds is a very quick time it's definitely going to be hard for someone to beat that but you never know.

what android version are you using ,i mean what platform ..
is this thing also available for IOS ? and others.

This app works with all android devices from 2.3 upwards so it should cover most phones and tablets, I'm afraid I only develop for android so there isn't a IOS version.

Yes I'm thinking of releasing more challenges after this one depending on how this competition goes and I'll be adding more updates and features to this app soon.

No you don't need to make a deposit this is simply a free competition where you can win some bitcoin.

There was a bug found with the scoring which was calculating the time taken incorrectly so this has now been fixed but unfortunately you will have to wait for the latest update to come through Google Play and take the challenge again in order for it to count in the competition.

This is just to make things fair and sorry for the inconvenience.

Please wait until you've received the latest update "Version 4" before trying the challenge, you should receive it soon.

Just updated the game, however I found that the leaderboard was reset... Fortunately I still keep the 1st status, but I done it 6s slower :(

In new updated app , i found nothing new i took 55 sec to complete game +10 sec more than my previous record


But while using app i found a bug
We can select game of our choice because when click start option timer not starts automatically and person check the difficulty of the game and if he found the game is difficult then he can come out of app and change tge game again l

Yes sorry there was bug which affected how the time was being saved so I had to reset the leaderboard just to make things fair the time has to be calculated the same way.

It's OK there is still 1 month left to play this challenge so there is plenty of time to improve your scores.

Also that bug you mentioned isn't really a bug because if people want to go back and go back in for an easier game board then that's a good way to improve their score it's not cheating. It doesn't make a difference to me how the game board is laid out it's suppose to be random and i get confused anyway.

Just see there is a new winner who can complete it in 15.5s and I don't think I can achieve it (I have done 17.6s twice) :(Then will there be a second challenge? Will it be the same game or a different one? The next challenge will also run for a month, right?

Yes there will be another challenge after this one. It will be something different.

I couldn't even do it in under 30 seconds

If you can fund you may rather decrease the challenge period to 1 week or every two weeks, so the game wont get boring than 1 month of playing op.

Yes this competition is still going, you can download from the Google Play store, i will be adding shorter challenges in the future but first i need to establish a userbase.

interesting to participant but google play store has removed your apps, make me worry that's apps have virus or something can make my mobile phone broke

Agree, can you put this app at virus total so we know that there isn't any malicious virus lurking inside your app?
Also, are there any prizes for 2nd and the 3rd place?

Hi there, I know it's annoying that Google took it off the Play store  but really there isn't any virus or anything in this app - it's the first time I've even heard of virus total and If you paste the url http://www.tricksapps.co.uk/BitcoinChallenge.apk (http://www.tricksapps.co.uk/BitcoinChallenge.apk) into virustotal.com you will see that no viruses are found.

It's just a simple app challenge I thought would be fun and good to see the results and I am surprised with how fast some people can do this challenge. You can see by my other apps on the play store that I'm not in the virus game.

And currently there is only a prize for 1st place but the next challenge I can add prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Google removed the app from the play store because it broke their gambling rules - which is annoying.

How transparent is this challenge?
I would suggest to add at least 2 more prizes.
1st runner up and 2nd, in total 3 prizes, i will download later it and will see how fast i can be.

So is the month competition over? Who won? I really loved the app btw.

Unfortunately this app will not be continued as Google just deletes apps like this from the store.

I am happy and sad all at the same time. I am happy I won but sad to see this app die so soon. There are so many worse app's in the google app store. I am surprised that you have had such a hard time with them.

But I thank you for all your hard work on the app and here on the thread as well as having the opportunity to compete in the last competition. I wish you the best and hopefully will see your next endeavor.
