Title: Getting Old?
Post by: Sourgummies on September 04, 2015, 01:19:27 AM
Lets talk about issues that bug you and make you feel like you are getting old...

Neighbors kid comes home around 11-Midnight and never fails to blast his Wacka Flocka rap or 2chains. Not only does he bump it late on a week night,he
sits in his car,in the driveway listening to it. When I was a kid I did the same thing but lately it grates on me. My sleep is all I got left in this world dammit!!
Hate that I cringe when I hear his beats entering the street, what happened to me!

Give me some things that make you feel old.

Kids around my way are not just running they got the parachutes, kettlebells, weighted ropes, weighted vests and those weighted balls.
I watch them doing things on the stairs that are just begging to blow out a knee. Jealous! Hell yeah I am. Its crazy what some kids are doing at such a young age.

I look 10 years younger than that I did 10 years ago. In fact the guys at the licensing bureau thought they made a mistake and pulled a decades old picture from their files and used on my license. ROFL

The only downside is I can't be in direct sunlight without getting severe radiation burns and florescent lights are a motherfucker.  :D

I'm pretty sure those are common annoyances, regardless of age...

I look ~15 years younger than I am, so I know how that feels...it should work out in our favor later on in life though, right?  :D

I run into bootcamps over and over when going to work out in parks. The instructors must all read the same handbook.
Get in the way of any other workouts going on,stare down anyone not in the bootcamp, yell as loud as you can as soon as anyones ear is in 4 feet of them "Keep it up,30 seconds" and talk about their diet to people that obviously are not training to be superstars.
Nothing against people getting in shape but I have a issue when the taxes pay for the park and they act like a gang that needs to control the turf.

There is a oval track and people run/ walk around it. People already walking the track have to walk off the track to get around a bootcamp yoyo in each lane doing planks, burpees or running that stupid stretched out ladder. The funny thing is one bootcamp leaves and another arrives and they all put the people through the exact same workout.
Why anyone would pay to be yelled at when they got the routine figured out in 3 classes.

Go back and forth if I want to be a asshole and speak on it. At some point I can not go to war with every person I see. ;D

No, but seriously, it bugs me when neighborhood kids will go on other people's properties.

I always get asked for my ID whenever I need to buy alchohol so I just get it out before hand lmao.

Also, a lot more now I'm thinking about finance and global economics, though I think that's more of a knowledge thing rather than an age thing because there are people twice my age who don't know about that.

You need to drag that kid out of his car and hit him over the head with Dr Dre-The Chronic LP. Playing shit like 2Chainz should be illegal

So my manager wanted to hook me up with her niece (before the niece started working). Once she started, around six months later, we started flirting...but I quickly cut off all communication because the girl was nuts.  I find out the manager is now pissed at me for flirting with her niece, all because I'm seven years older (the niece is way above legal lol). Wtf?

Just goes to show how age really doesn't matter...!

As a kid, I used to look forward to meeting up with old farts because off their unique demeanor. Now, I'm that old fart passing the love.

You know what makes me feel old? now people refer to me as sir. even on the street.
I used to like when they called me kid... it was beautiful :P

Also, listening to some weird of your friends saying "oh look at that butt!" And I'm like.. hey, I bet 10 bucks she isn't even legal age what you are talking about.
I'm getting old fast.

I feel very old when i see some high school students and remember that i was one of them five years ago. It seems like the time flies. I finished faculty but still i feel young there is a lot of life in front of me.

I felt really old a while back when I was at the shop.
A young mother told her kid that was running infront of me "Do not disturb that old man"
