I never click any ads banner even I have to wait a few time. The faucet owner are earning while their page are showing. Clicking ads maybe earning more but I hae to earn much more, so I have to load another faucet page.

Well, when I find an advertisement of another faucet offering 1000 satoshi or plus every hour (or less) then why not, i already clicked several times (last one few hours ago) .
If i find another one that is not interesting, i will not click on it.
That's why ads was made.
If you really appreciated the rewards of a specific faucet and you want to help the owner then why not...it will takes few seconds but I refuse to be obliged to click on it by the admin! I may even stop using it.

I open a lot of faucets at the same time so i don't have to wait anything usually.

When they use antibot systems etc i'll try my best to not click the ads while in other, clean and fair faucets that give good rewards, sometime i click on ads.

I never click ads on faucet if they have to much borring antibot.
But when the faucet is good rewarding and easy to claim, then it appens that i click ads.
On my own faucets i have mainly "ads on it" paying by displaying and not by clicking.

Moonbit and Freebitco both have nice timers and you do not have to switch tabs to see when you can claim again. You can go on with something else, and when the bell rings

you can just switch tabs and fill the Captha quickly to claim the coins. The people on this forum claiming that you have to watch the page until the waiting period expired has

obviously not used these faucets before. You go on as normal and solve the Capthas when you want to.  ;D

well, people do not click on ads without timer  or etc. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1170754.0
When i see too long timer, or strange antibot needments, just close the tab

If there is a long timer, I go do something else while I wait. If it's a nice fast clean faucet, I click an ad when I leave.

No, they earn a lot from clicks on ads and they still pay the same dust... what they earn from ad views is enough for what they pay to us (to be honest, as of now I only use freebitco, but I was a faucet user a few months ago).

I dont think that you right. My faucets are nearly break even now. Without clicks is no return.

Im clicking on faucets which is without hided claim buttons and have no waiting time. 3-5sec its OK.

I don't see what clicking ads has to do with it. I don't ever ask for ads to be clicked and never will.

Users support your site if they like it and they won't if they don't.

me personally , Don't click on any ads as long as there is a long waiting time or hide claim buttons that appear afterwards , why I don't is because it really makes the whole process of using a faucet slown down significantly just for them to keep the visitors more on the page and I hate these actions

I don't click ads to faucet with waiting timer, generally i don't use this type of faucet because is only waste time, i like more normal faucet (and click to normal faucet)

A faucet admin adds a timer to either prevent bot abuse or to let users check out the ads. If the timer is more than 20 sec obviously users will check out the ads and might click on one of them, I do. When a timer runs more than 20 sec, users usually leave the faucet and surf something else and return once the timer has stopped, no clicks.

I just visited a faucet, http://faucetstar.cf/ (http://faucetstar.cf/)

The timer is 180 seconds (3 minutes). I do not get the purpose of this timer :D

Same here. There is a lot of claims and only few clicks on ads per day! It is difficult to keep faucet alive without support from users.

Now i dont have timer but soon i will do that - i need this protection against bots..

If you want to support a faucet hat's also bad since too many clicks can lead to a ban for the faucet owner's ads account.
1 click every 2 days should be enough if the ad platform is only one...if you have different platforms on the same faucet then you can click one from each platform.

really? i used to do it everytime i see a good faucet , didn't know it can lead to ban  :-\ i wasn't aware of that regulation and i guess that was the most evil thing i've done to a faucet :D don't worry im not gonna do it again :D thanks for the reminder

If the faucet is high rewarding,I won't mind giving them something back by clicking their ads,but some faucet offer to little like 50-200 Satoshi and expect visitors to wait 2-3 minutes and click their ads,I dont give them a damn.I mean if you want to earn big with ads,at least give some decent amount to your visitors too

this is not truth some faucet owner do not want to put from own pocket at starting because of unsurity of revenue and adsense may ban at any time so they start from small reward but as people start to visit and clicking ads they start to increase rewards it's all about revenue sharing in form of bitcoin. if you click >> faucet owner earn >> if he earns he share back in from of bitcoin

Probably because of that (not clicking) faucet owners prefer to use timer..  atm i don't have timer but I am more and more convinced that it would be a better solution.

Here's some stats from a friend of mine who own a small faucet:

Page views: 3016, impressions: 10474, clicks 9, Earnings: 1.72$ ..
Who much satoshis she give on that day? 0.0085 (worth 1.96$ right now)  for a nice profit of...: -0.24$
Oh.. i forgot something:  she's gotta pays for :
Domain name, hosting and design

She told me she's gonna have to change something to be able to earn a little more.. A timer?, or some annoying popups? or maybe just shut down that faucet..

If you claim satoshis from faucets and don't click on the ads. The faucet don't make money and it will disappear. Click on ads doesn't cost you anything. You should click on a few ads and support the faucet.

I agree with you , people think faucet owner makes lot of money and they give dust in return but actual situation is different. Sometime it's hard to keep live the faucet . if a user click 1 ad in 2 days then that's enough .

And if user start to click then faucet owner like me would like to share back 95% of earning in form of bit coin.

The most faucets website will die within a few months because of this. People just come to claim the satoshi and not more. The all got a referral system to attract some more users but with that they also had to pay even more out.

NO no one does that. I also run faucet and only thing we have take care is about the attacks we may get from bots. There is nothing like waiting time which will increase the click on ads. If they like ads they click we can't change that behaviour.
