Title: AMDoverdrive wont work in Linux after flashing card, but afterburner works on Post by: neoteric on June 04, 2011, 01:44:15 PM I have searched the forums, and tried my best to solve this on my own. I apologize if its been asked and answered.
I flash my AMD cards. If I boot into linux, the AMDOverdrive wont work on the card. If I boot into windows, the card works fine. Can anyone make some suggestions as to how I make this work in Linux. Thanks so much. Title: Re: AMDoverdrive wont work in Linux after flashing card, but afterburner works on Post by: neoteric on June 04, 2011, 11:49:37 PM Thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate it.
I overclocked my ATI video card a little. Worked great. MSI Afterburner works just fine in windows, allows me to pump it up a little. However, when I boot the machine into Linux, AMDoverdrive opens and freezes there. I dont know what ATIconfig is. Is it in the linuxcoin distro, do you know. Thanks again for your help. Thanks again for your help. aticonfig is the command-line utility that's installed when you install the Catalyst control center. type: aticonfig --help from any terminal. |
