I think we're going into a bull market. What do you think? :)

Have to go with it being in your mind. We are up and down a few dollars nothing overly exciting lol

Why bullish all of the sudden? Just curious.

We had been bouncing between $200 an $300 since the beginning of the year. We have good support at the lower limit, but no bull yet. We could be "entering" a bull market and don't know it yet?  ::)

Jan 13 looks like the bottom to me I wouldn't be surprised if we test 200 again but I see alot more upside than downside looking at the charts

Why do you tihnk we will be entering a bull market?  Just a guess and speculation or do you have some numbers to go with your thoughts?

Well that's the 2015 low for stamp. We see a double bottom on the weekly RSI right around that time indicating it was massively oversold when it went to 152 on stamp/162 on btc-e. Right now we have potential downside, but plenty of potential upside. I think the bottom is in.

Not so sure about it. Without any big positive news, and without the block size increase consensus your prediction is I think highly unlikely.

Then again you never know in the Bitcoin world but my Rationale still refuses to believe into this!

There is currently no trend. The downward trend that we had previously, where there would be major drop offs every few weeks has ended. Now we are moving sideways. The bbands are tightening as we continue with little volatility. Looking at the 1 week chart the candles are making a frying pan bottom which typically preludes a pop upwards. But honeybadger don't care about candlestick analysis, bitcoin is going to do whatever the fuck it wants!  ;D

There's no sign for a bull market right now. Where do you get that feeling? We are still going sideways and probably we will until block halving speculative moves.

Yes we are going into bull. We have seen some solid increases in the last couple days, up 10-20$ from the bottom I think we are going to 250, maybe 300 by the end of the year.

Yes and yes bull market shows optimism, investor confidence and expectations that strong results will continue. It's difficult to predict consistently when the trends in the market will change. I dont think there is something wrong about it.

A week ago he started a thread about going down. Did not work. Maybe pumping up will work? I think he overestimates the influence of this forum - the real Fontas pump and dumps were in much smaller markets.

Without clarity on the blocksize limit bulls will not invest.
Without legislative clearance bulls will not invest.
Without a reliable investment tool like the Winklevoss ETF bulls will not invest.
Without a US controlled liquid Bitcoin market US bulls will not invest.
Without a very reliable (100%) and secured wallet provider bulls will not invest.

The upcoming blockhalving event (the one and only definitive predictable positive impact) in 2016 can have a positive impact only if the given points will have been addressed that time.
If these points will not have been addressed until blockhalving then the price development is open.

Not yet. I believe this going to take a few more months. I don't expect any major moves on the way up before next year halving. But you're welcome to prove me wrong and I wouldn't have any probs to accept that. :)

I agree with Denker, I see nothing major in the imminent future. We have to be patient, there is no rush. Expect some positive price reaction closer to the halving next summer, I don't anticipate significant movement before then.

I guess so because the market is determined by investors' attitudes, these terms also denote how investors feel about the market and the ensuing trend.

I tend to agree with you. Price seems to have more upward push than downwards. Dumps get corrected quite quickly and in general it is just time for an increase.

Also a lot of good news has been out, especially compared to the bad news, we are about to break the grips of low 200 and sub 300.

Yes we are.  It's already starting as a matter of fact.  It's a good time to start buying.

Have to agree something is brewing and my guess is we are about to enter a bull market but the question is how long? lol

I don't need to buy now when I have accumulated enough over the last year all below current price. I will find out without buying high.

Something changed that I am not aware of? Current price of BTC is quite the same since couple of months, why suddenly you think we are entering bull market? There is nothing that indicates that.

Market's just don't work the way that most people think they do. Bitcoin will rally when there is sufficient despair such that the MM has the easiest opportunity to corner everybody and run the price up to whatever they like.

I don't think we're quite at that despair stage yet.

Another possibility is that we're all getting used to Bitcoin being priced between 200-300 and from the MM training us to think 300 is bitcoin mooning, most people will probably sell at 300 and only then will we see bitcoin truly rally.

We're not entering a new bull-market, 2016 will be the kick-off for a new one. This bear market is slowly comming to the end.

Higer MB + block halving= BOOM!

I would love to see a Bull Market.  Do I think it will happen, not quite yet but hopefully soon.

I want to be a part of the Bit coin Millionaire club and hopefully one day that will happen!

Halving + increased blocksize + ETF will do the trick.
It all will happen. When exactly is more predictable for the one than the other though.

It's not like markets are that inefficient and stupid, all participants know that there will be a block halving next year.
The participants will not wait to buy until 2016, if they think there will be a huge increase in price because of the halving.
We could still see a major run up this year and stabilize at a higher price next year.

There will be another halving 4 years after that, maybe we should already buy now?

Its also an effect of having funds available to buy, hype and price trends that will cause a hyped buy closer before the halving.

Maybe you should, that depends on your expectations. If you are confident that the halving will increase the price why wait?
I wouldn't go fishing for the bottom if I were confident in the increase.

To be clear, I have NOT said that I believe the price will increase. I have only communicated that the market is well aware off the halving and won't wait to react until there is only one month left to the halving.

I think that the timing is just about right. Coming (possible) stock market crash + halving in less than 43 weeks  ;)

Yeah with so many miners and few investors we are definitely entering the bull market again.
