Offering this task to the bitcoin community. I usually use friendly Indians over on freelancer for work that I need done but since there are a few people on here now offering cheap services, I think what the heck.

The Job

Download and rename a total of 1678 MP4 videos.
Watermark these videos.
Upload these videos to a server.

The Details

I will supply a list of 1678 websites to scrape the video data off on an Excel spreadsheet. The videos contain adult content (pornographic). They are between 5-10 minutes long each on average, however there are the odd 20-30min videos. They are in MP4 format. I will provide the logo to be used as a watermark on all the video clips. I will also supply credentials to a server for FTP access.

The Conditions

Freelancers to offer their price BTC but can be paid in either $US or BTC. Bear in mind, however, this is a bitcoin forum and I much rather prefer everyone accept payment in BTC. Call it a reverse bidding system but I can get this done for $60.00, so, 0.25BTC is the highest price I will pay for these works, anything above that will be rejected automatically. It's not an auction, therefore I do not have to choose the cheapest freelancer if I don't want to. If there is an interest for this kind of work on here, then I will choose someone to commence the works in 48hrs time. Once accepted, the works should be complete or reasonably close to finished within 3 days of accepting the task. I can escrow the BTC once the job is accepted if absolutely necessary. Payment released upon completion.

There is ongoing work for the right candidate and I actually have a lot of projects I am working on, all NSFW, and I am happy to offer a lot of it on here.

I think your price is very low for the 1678 videos, this takes a lot of time.

Totally agree with u if I were to do it myself it would take a long time. But someone with a bit of knowledge in this department could easily automate this so they don't have to sit there downloading the videos one by one. This job is obviously for someone that could write a simple Java script from what I gather.

Seriously you should give 10 times that 0.25BTC, this is a lot of work even with automation let alone the download/upload part of it.

It's not what you asked for, but i can write you a php or perl script to index websites, extract urls to videos, download the videos, pass them trough ffmpeg to watermark them...

That way, you'll never have to pay anybody to do this task ever again...

On the downside, i cannot make such a script for 0.25BTC, it'll cost a bit more, but it's a onetime payment... PM me if interested!

Let alone the download/upload part of it? What part of automated do u not understand?

Can people stop posting stupid $600 requests for this work plz. I don't want to see anymore of this. I can get this done for $60 by multiple freelancers already, it's not so much the money side of things but clearly I just thought I'd see what talent is available on here for future projects. If you think u have to download these videos and do all the work manually one by one then YOU CLEARLY SHOULD NOT OFFER ADVICE ON HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO GET THE JOB DONE. I want this job done in a day or two not a month or two.

$60 for 1678 videos download watermarking then uploading and you can get this done for $60 where exactly ? Where electricity and internet is free ?

Seriously mate 0.25 btc is very low price for this work..This work is very time taking because first we need to download these 1678 videos which alone will take a lot of time and bandwidth then we need to watermark the videos one by one and for that each video will go through conversion which again will consume a lot of time and then we need to reupload the videos one by one and as you are saying you will provide FTP credentials then it would be much slow so No offence but i would say if you offer 10 times this 0.25 then i can consider this job. :)
