I added the link for viewing purposes, For NO REASON SHOULD YOU CLICK ON IT.

I have received this twice now and like the start of the site's url. MICROSOFT.COM - immediatly you think it is reputable and safe and to a person who has a medium knowledge of computer they may believe it. However, the dash that follows and the .link at the end suggest that it is a scammer.

This is a WARNING to anyone else who gets this.

I got this after typing in freedoge.co.in (OBVIOUSLY NOT THEM!)

I have been reveiving emals from which they claim they are the "microsoft team". They are on the spam box so I never clicked on it. Also it's a  obvious scam attempt if not phising or whatever underground purposes. Thanks for alerting the public!

Wow, sneaking bastards.

Quote
com-selected-winner.link was registered in NAMECHEAP on 2015-08-27 09:03:00 and the expire date is 2016-08-27 09:03:00.

.link is the TLD and microsoft is the subdomain of com-selected-winner.link, hence the period/full stop.

as long as they are not ever attempting to get anything private or bitcoins from us.

Thanks for the corrections...
Need to remember for receiving (I before E accept after C)!

However, when in the firefox browser, I saw the part of the tab that usually displays the icon was still acting as if it was loading but they won't have got very much useful information. None of that on the computer... It's all on hard drives!
