Seems like it'd have been better/more professional to notify folks that they were going to bury LQC at some point in the future. Oh and STOP selling option contracts based on LQC. This feels like a poorly planned knee jerk decision, not what one wants in an exchange. Trust level fading fast. If you have a lot of funds at vircurex...don't.
