i am about to buy an antminer U2 and another U1 (USB), the usb port and the mini usb fan. All that for 25 euros+ sending=35 euros more or less Do you think it is a nice price? Thans, after all the advice people gave me i think i wont buy the gridseed as it woll fry itself (i dont really care about profitability). If you end up running it 24x7 you will really like the low electricity use of the RPI vs a laptop. It's a little bit more upfront cost but will save you overtime. I highly suggest getting one. If you end up running it 24x7 you will really like the low electricity use of the RPI vs a laptop. It's a little bit more upfront cost but will save you overtime. I highly suggest getting one. Crazy Guy is a talented programmer and made custom firmware where if you purchase off him you can select to have it loaded. Thanks I've never actually purchased one, but if i remember correctly, you just needed to unplug it, and plug it back in in order to "fix" the zombie-mode. It's not difficult, but it's not a hands-free system. You need to monitor your U3 in order to restart it when it goes into zombie mode. I would suggest using miningrigrentals, point your U3 towards them, and enter your pool of choice into miningrigrentals GUI. Was using Windows 8 and cgminer. But I switched to Crazy Guy's R1 custom firmware for purchasing for him and it's able to fix automatically via software. So I don't have to touch them to fix each time. Which is great. |
