Pretty much Coindesk for me too. Also you can follow the subreddit section for bitcoin / bitcoin. Also has most of the news and highlights posted there. bitcointalk press section is also useful, but a lot of redundant posts there.

I got my Bitcoin news from one source. Click here (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Bitcoin) and I will guide you how to look for Bitcoin news.

With a search of "Bitcoin" on Google, you will see the top three Bitcoin related news. This is how I find recent news about Bitcoin.

In the past I got Bitcoin news from this forums. Somehow this forums is too crowed and cannot find good news.

Reddit, coindesk and blockchain.info headlines are the real sources of bitcoin related news. All other bitcoin news portals seam to be
just rewriting articles and news from these sources. Here on forum it's mostly just "second hand" news as well, with rare exceptions.

Mostly I get them from http://cointelegraph.com/ on a daily basis and also some more Google searches with bitcoin related keys and lastly on YouTube, I watched videos there, read the comment sections there and most of the time, there's an interesting article link somewhere there

I always find my self looking at coindesk for the mainstream bitcoin news, i do swing be reddit when ever i want a more detail look of the community and if there is anything going on.

Bitcoins are a currency which are Getting popular now and then, so obviously some websites have started offering news about it. Even there are many forums which provide you a discussion platform about your problems with bitcoins. Websites which I personally mostly use is reddit.com and bitcointalk.org, they provide continuous news and updates about bitcoins and their happenings in the world.

Sometimes a google search but those tend to be only if I want article sub-sourcing aka used free articles or need to look up more details on something I saw in Press.

Shameless plug, mine (http://"http://honeybadgerofmoney.com").  Otherwise I like to look in on IRC and hear what others like to share.  Between a meetup group, phone chat group, a few slack channels, IRC, reddit, and here, everything gets a bit repetitive.  MSM is fun to laugh at as they continue to insult themselves trying to keep up with your technologies and the acumen required to adequately understand them - they've been getting much better in the past couple of years though.  Though, news everyday is sort of garbage:

1. speculation on price or motives aka Euphoria news / Gloom news
2. controversy when it fits the objectives of the narrative
3. promotions of VC investment while masquerading it as market analysis
4. blatant shilling

I follow a lot of bitcoiners on Twitter, people tweet the relevant news, so there isn't a one site I go for bitcoin news, I go to a lot of websites.

I just read these forums and occasionally visit Coindesk.

These sites are good and all, but I like coming here, to BitcoinTalk to get my Bitcoin news. Most of the time when I log on there are a tonne of new topics and they are more interesting than the ones reported. I also like to have the opinion of the Bitcoin community rather than people that barely know anything about Bitcoin.

Im pretty confused, why nobody mention Bitcointalk? i spend lot of hours here in this fórum by checking all the info that you guys post here, obviously there is lot of good websites with lot of info but for me this is one of the best site.

Also another one is just twitter, if you follow the correct guys, you will get lot of news about bitcoin instantly in your account.

I see what is popular in the community as my means of testing how important the news story is.  If you read a news site it is controlled by 1 group.

I use this forum and especially bitcoin discussion section as news source about Bitcoin and its information.In matter of minutes some respected member starts thread about any update.I also use twitter and cointelegraph for updates.

I am mostly using this forum and googling from time to time. Stopped to use reddit frequently due to trolls and stupid bearish retards, so i use reddit just for fun now. I think bitcointalk is best source of news and you can get best picture of what it realy means from relevant community members.

i can get any bitcoin news from here, from this forum, it's the smartest way to gain a post with commenting a news here

I do check for latest news from Google news. Other than this I just follow cointelegraph and coindesk for latest news on bitcoin ecosystem. These are the news are very much useful for analyzing bitcoin prices and any new plan goes on.

In recent times I was reliant on the news from television but have noticed it is delayed to anything doing with technology within a 24 hour period bitcoin included.
Then I just went on news feeds like yahoo and msn but those are biased opinions and they got paid from the entities that pay them for advertising.
Now I rely on this site for up-to-date current coverage that is unbiased to everything that is bitcoin.
This site wouldn't give you false information now would it?  ;)

I get news from different sites through my google email or gmail
I set up my google alerts and put key words like "Bitcoins" and any news related to Bitcoins will be sent to my email
You can add more words like "Bitcoins Scam" or "Bitcoin Store" to be more specific

mostly here or reddit. that reddit sub has reached a cult-like status though, so I try to avoid the comments and stick to articles

Google it! the best and most relevant Bitcoin news will be most likely to change from site to site everyday. That way you can ignore the repeated or redundant news and see the latest ones easily.

I use coindesk, cryptocoinnews and cointelegraph.

These are general crypto news. For more specific ones, especially technical innovations, I use cryptominingblog.

First here, then everything else. I come here and check new post`s, what people have to say and only then I`m googling about something I wish to know more. But if u look this place, many people share hot new`s and u also can read comments from some trusted people. I find that much better then to read some new`s.

I have followed several crypto coin related person on twitter so i get daily tweets from them about bitcoin and other coins. Coindesk is my best choice among bitcoin related blog site.

I get news from Coindesk, cointelegraph and mainly from BTT forum. Some time news spread very quickly, I do not read many boards.

Coindesk , CoinTelegraph I check those website every morning and evening (at least twice a day) to see what's going on Bitcoin world and from time to time I check Ibtimes or TechCrunch (but they aren't really into Bitcoin like the first two )

I look on these forums and sometimes I do a search on google news to find mainstream media articles.

I have the ZeroBlock app on my phone. It has a "news" page. This page aggregates news from many sources... CoinDesk Crypto Coin News, Bitcoin warrior, money & tech, wsj, wired, even major national newspapers such as the guardian and nyt... Even reddit.

My first choice for Bitcoin related news is CoinDesk. Their articles are mostly well written and interesting to read. My second choise for Bitcoin news is CryptoCoinsNews. I read them considerably less than CoinDesk, but from time to time there are interesting articles that I enjoy reading.

I personally agree with you. Coindesk does deliver true content and genuine.

DMT is a good website for fintech stuff too, just a bit smaller. It's not big as CD is, but I assume that doesn't have any impact on my views.
(Plus the guys who write for DMT are great!)

I have seen one more site, it's www.TheMerkle.com, they provide everything those 2 sites above do, plus they add TA/MA and altcoin TA.

What about cointelegraph? They seems had great  quality news too in my opinion.

You should do a little bit of research on CT. They have many scam accusations going against them for hyping coins and posting stuff from other sites without even editing it.

They are pretty active at posting news tho, and the person behind it is a mastermind for affiliate/marketing promotions.

The sites I go to, provides good news of Bitcoin everyday and they are a constant source of information. Those sites are CoinDesk and Bitcoin Magazine. They are the best.  ;D

I think I have read a few articles from their site, but not more than that. Site looks pretty good, but I will stick to CD and CCN as long as they release good content.

its not hard to get news about bitcoin,so many bitcoin portal,and general portal also load about bitcoin news,i can get it from social media,national news portal,but not many bitcoin news i subsribed,its just some. CCN.la is one of that,i also get some news from cryptourrencynews,coindesk and many more.and also i often get bitcoin news from facebook group.

I check out coindesk everyday, has some good info on there, they are pretty much keeping me updated with everything related to Bitcoin.

For bitcoin news I basically just scan the press section of this forum as most news worthy articles are covered here.

Far easier than to visit all the various sites for news updates.

When you google up: 'bitcoin news' you will find plenty of high quality material on the first page of results. It is quite sufficient to satisfy almost everyone.
But personally I like to read forum frist and find out what is popular, then I try to look up for interesting topics further.

Honestly speaking I don't use any other websites to get the information on bitcoins, as I can get all information here on this forum, whether it is information related to the prices or whether any political related issues I can get all information here and this forum helps me to update my knowledge related to bitcoins.

I don't want to get BTC news everyday? Why should I? BTC do not make headline everyday, nor should any currency. I haven't read or seen anything about the $ or the € those past few days, does it matter? It just doesn't. This board is more thn enough, and I don't even log in everyday. I keep calm.

Most of the news/bitcoin related incidents were posted here (bitcointalk.org) and some time i may use cointelegraph. That's all i know.

I think reddit is still the best way to go. You get the news and then a lot of interesting comments. It's really easy to get what happened during a period of time you stop paying attention to Bitcoin for a while (sometimes I do this because I need a short vacation due stress of reading way too much stuff).

Of copurse there is a lot of trusted sites that announce the last news about bitcoin every day, but in this forum we can get it simply and also read the feedbacks about this news so it's more interesting

Aside from the popular coindesk and some sections in this forum, you can also try Bitcoin Kan application for Android. Aside from real time btc price in some exchanges, they have an in-app news in their app which really gave you a compress page thats why it will give you a faster and smooth loading than reading news and articles in some sites or blogs.

I get my news from here, bitcointalk :-\ everyone shares and discusses the upcoming information, so I get to hear people's opinion, not just plain news from coindesk. But if you want to be the first to hear about that certain newspiece, then is recommend coindesk.

Usually from Concdesk but the last weeks i started following a lot of people on twitter and many people retweet interesting news headlnes. So yes that's my main source now.

i mostly just read about the current bitcoin news here on this forum lol. believe it or not thats one of the big reasons why i joined this forum.

If i wanna check up on the current bitcoin price instead of the news i usually check the coinbase website, cuz its really clean and simple, plus they have charts.

I read the news from coindesk and some internet forums. The press section of this forum is also a good source of news and this forum is always updated on the bitcoin news every day if the bitcoin or alternative coin was turning into scam and i like that user who are posting lots of news about what it bitcoin and other alternative coin.

Not just a posted news here in this forum. Everyone can shared their comments, opinions and thoughts about the news.

But if one like a portable one, the one I posted can be an alternative.

They are my main 2 do search for information or news about Bitcoin.

Yeah, this forum is pretty much the only place I go for bitcoin.  I am such a creature of habit, and I really should start watching the news and browsing btc websites.  But when something big happens in bitcoin, there is usually a thread started on it almost immediately.  And in general I distrust journalists and don't visit straight up news websites.

 It's the paranoia that needs to be medicated.  The paranoia, doctor.

Pretty much the same with me. I go here on Bitcointalk for my fresh squeezed Bitcoin news. Guess it's easier for me here. People just talking their thoughts out, unbiased and unfiltered. Guess it can never be better than that.

Yes, that's important for me--unfiltered and pretty much uncensored.  Don't know about unbiased.  One thing I really, really like about bitcointalk is that you can speak your mind using whatever words you see fit, as long as you're not blatantly trolling.  It's all tolerated here to a large extent, and you don't see that on many other forums. 

A lot of websites will have you not use profanity or they don't tolerate racism or sexism or any of the isms.  Here it's a gigantic melting pot of pent up, Tower of Babel-level aggression and the discussions just have lives of their own.  It's kind of nice compared to stamp and coin collecting forums.  You have to act like gentlemen on those sites and I don't like that.

I mostly watch twitter where I follow several accounts that tweet various bitcoin news stories.

I do a google search for "bitcoin" and then select only News articles and I can see the news from several different sources and up to date.  I also like reddit and this forum for news.

I search it on google, then pick which topic that intrested in ;D But this forum does the job too...

It depends on what I'm actually looking for, most of the time I don't do much more than go onto something like coindesk or another website and just read some of the stuff they have on there, but if Bitcoin ever shows up on a larger news network, I'll read the article 99% of the time.

out of all the bitcoin news websites i prefer coindesk because it usually doesn't have FUD news like some of other places that make some news big and dramatic just to attract more traffic to their site. besides it has all the prices from different exchangers in one place with a nice chart that i usually check out.

I'm a member of some Crypto related pages/groups on Facebook, they provide me with the most important news on my 'News Feed'.
I had to check them thoroughly before adding them, since a lot of these groups are used for spam.

My favorite is here and zapchain. Users tend to post links to most relevant news in other sources, so you get informed.

A group in Facebook I joined regularly share news of bitcoin, so I always go there. I also do some google search from time to time to get fresh news.

since i visit bitcointalk.org and reddit/r/bitcoin almost everyday, i don't need to visit news sites in order to get news about bitcoin so i am all set. but sometimes if i want to check out about a specific news i use google and also will visit coindesk.com

Bitcoindest, Reddit, following various tweeters who mostly tweet about bitcoin are the best way to get news on bitcoin everyday. These days creating a news channel for bitcoin seems to be appreciable.

There are plenty of news right here that are updated almost in real time. Best place.

Yeah, I'm even up-to-date with what's happening to the world because of the Politics and Society section.

IMO if it's the big news, CoinDesk should be enough. If you'd like to know the industry latest, I suggest you read Press Releases at CoinDesk too.

If you need fast info you can get it from twitter just follow those smart guys.

That's true this forum is the best when you have to collect any information related to bitcoins as it provides us with various topics related to bitcoins which can take care of everything.

This forum is the best for Bitcoins news because it is updated always.
Also I get to see very useful conversation on all the topics which help me understand all about bitcoins.

I have been reading news here as this is where the only news I trust when it comes to bitcoin news, but sometimes when I have time I type it in google "latest news about bitcoin" then atleast some new and fresh articles are in the top, so just a click and you can now read news about bitcoin...as of this days, I have been very busy so I am sometimes not up to date about bitcoin...

Not all and some posted here are only a quiet major and big ones. But for an average news it's not always updated and others just posting some wild speculations.

If you want a quick bitcoin news, just type Bitcoin News in Google search and there's a up to date bitcoin news shown in the result.

In google you will only get the bitcoin news. but here on the forum you will get the useful discussion of that and also
you will be getting ideas and views, which can help better

i can get any news for bitcoin just like movement prices or all related from bitcoin on this forum everyday and i think that all news here is pretty accurate

There are many sites and pages that i can get latest news about bitcoin.Specially on our facebook group im always updated cause of the admins.One site i get my news on bitcoins is on this site bitcointalk.Im always updated here cause of the thread poster that always post any updates about bitcoins so every member will notice what is happening on bitcoin world

I learned the news from multiple sites. On this site http://forklog.com/news/ I read news about altcoins.
And on this https://bitnovosti.com/ i read news in the world cryptocurrency whole.
News-specific altcoins, I learn directly from the developers on this forum.

Best way to say up to day with what's going on is to create a Twitter account specifically for Bitcoin, follow Bitcoin related accounts and nothing else. If there is anything at all happening chances are you'll hear about it on Twitter first plus it's a lot more efficient than monitoring dozens of individual sites.

I get news from google and also from this forum and I find this forum better then google as it keeps on updating our knowledge on regular basis.

I get all of what I need from here. That's the best source of information, and it can be commented.

I get news about bitcoin every day from bitcointalk forum and Merkle. Bitcointalk is the best source to get news about bitcoin though.

It is really best way to get information about Bitcoin. Most of the forums are here of different fields where we get information of any subject. no best platform are here except it.

I usual get my dose of bitcoin news from reddit, bitcointalk and google news search. Reddit is quite good, but depending of which one you use, there might be some kind of censorship.

The same, I most often get news about bitcoin from my friends, or facebook Group bitcoin and of course in this forum too.

It turns out that you are already very experienced in finding a reliable and latest news about the information. most recent news for bitcoin will definitely enter into forum IE BitcoinTalk. All the other media outlets usually only provide information about the fundamental things just so it is not very effective for those who are still less understood about Bitcoin

any website that looks trustworthy and has accurate data also not a free domain or hosting. many websites are to editing the original news to make more attention from readers and the traffic of website will increase. I'm really hated with that's website.

using different sites and news agencies. I also get information about bitcoin through my friends. my friends informs me about bitcoin on daily basis. they inform me about its ups and downs. they also give me other information about bitcoin.

I don't remember name of any particular site but I just go to google and check what's going on with bitcoin, and of course this forum also provides some best news about bitcoin.

There are many websites from where you can get bitcoin related information like coindesk.com and even BCT does have many users posting articles but most oof the time I notice they are fake articles which have no truth.

I too used to follow this forum news but then only follow reputed websites with real and factual information about bitcoins.

This forum and Coindesk are my main source of info. And Twitter, of course.

I get my bitcoin news from coindesk and google mostly. I rarely check the Press section and Speculation is just FUD from members who don't want bitcoin to succeed. Sometimes the articles shared also have a different title and different content and hence Google mostly gives accurate information about bitcoins.

I mostly use Google because it has a variety of a lot of websites together so you can almost pick up every news item from the bitcoin.

This forum, however, is my main source of news about bitcoins. Every time I look at the Bitcoin Discussion section, news are posted there and if it's trendy, multiple threads are present.

I usually follow bitcoin news by searching on google news so I can get many options to choose from and read from more than one site

you don't need any of those to get the news about bitcoin.
just visit bitcointalk or even reddit/r/bitcoin and you get all the information and news that you can get from bitcoin and all of them up to date.

Yes this forum is best to collect updated information about bitcoin, as the discussion is based on latest trends which adds great value to our knowledge.

One would be of-course here on the Bitcointalk forums, another would be Coindesk and I think that would be pretty much it lol I just get like news snippets from the forums on here and then google them and that leads to me browsing different sites providing news coverage on Bitcoin.

i get my bitcoin on sig campaigns here at bitcointalk and the other one is on the mining sites not withdrawal on daily but you see the progress on it. Hyip dont have stable now so im much focus on sig campaign. Bitcointalk is really helpful for us to earn profit on signature campaign. and soon halving does  ;D

What software is that exactly? I kind of want to have that software to check currency too. I do not know what site to exactly look at to see the real or the most accurate bitcoin price. I only usually go look at google for a rough estimation, or somehow coinbase for a little more accurate price.

This forum is too good to get the latest news and updates related to bitcoin and coindesk is also good to get the accurate and realistic news related to bitcoin.

I read the form Press section. There are many news published very timely there. I also read other sections.

There are so many sites were you can look up Bitcoin news, you will only have to search for them on google and yo will find plenty of them. Just choose one that you like.

I like to look at a few different btc news sites each day because it helps you get in some cases the full story because i believe that every site has it's own agenda.

Yeah, the only thing that you have to do is search on google for Bitcoin news. You will find plenty of websites that will provide with so much different information.

First site at all is here at bitcointalk. There are comments of various news and from the comments can be read all the news. Then, the second source (more accurate and wide) is coindesk. There are much more news there and not only news about bitcoin. Then, occasionally but not few, from my online friends which have heard several new things and want to share those with me.

everyday i subscribed bitcoin portal like cryptocoinnews and other,but also i like to visit this forum to looking for information about crypto world,and its not bad,enough for me to get any informations here. but i still looking for better media like coindesk or anything.

I get the bitcoin news mainly from this forum which i visit more than once a day but i also visit 3-4 times a week coindesk,cointelegraph and the reddit subforum

I honestly just look at the google news they are having all kind of news feeds together and that is making it pretty nice so I can have a whole overview of the bitcoin news.

This forum and several other crypto currency related sites such as coindesk, cryptocoinsnews etc. are good source to fill me up with daily news. Last but not the least Google and Reddit also plays a major role in keeping me updated.

i have never get any news from that, to be honest i usually not search anything about bitcoins on google because i cannot find anything useful about it, so i just dont do that and thats it

The only thing I'm using for my news about the bitcoin is google honestly because you can see a whole overview of all news about the bitcoin.

I'm getting bitcoin news daily mostly on this forum. I'm rarely visting news websites which are writting about bitcoins due to lack of time. Sometimes most important news I'm finding in my country local news websites and popular forums.

I get them mostly from this forum of course. I always check bloomberg and the other economy news in the web but there aren't many news about bitcoin usually. Only big news makes an appearence.

I'm not so up to date to look at the news in bitcoin. I even did not know if Coinbase cooperating with paypal. I just saw the news bitcoin just from this forum. yeah occasionally read a newspaper on google also

As you said (and most people too lol) i mainly use this forum for that purpose.
But usually i use coindesk because it seems fine for me and i can find many interesting news right there,i also check bloomberg sometimes as you do too.

Youtube is full of trolls looking to make people panic with very dramatic and with lies filled videos. All this to make Bitcoin look bad. And the news that does somehow get covered in videos is mostly a few days old.

This forum is the main source that I use to gain the information about bitcoin till now. Too lazy to search at other places. Sometimes some news came in social media aswell but I never intend to get it.

Lately I only go to this forum to get information and I go to an exchange that I use to check the price. I don't do any searches anymore for general info because there's usually no new news coming out.

I don't go often on different sites i just go here and explore around different sections and i just read the topic that looks new and by just that i get different news and what is happening in bitcoin world.

I've read some bitcoins of course here in the forum, bitcointalk has a big source of news about bitcoin, there so many users here and brought some news about bitcoin or anything else. But for sure there's always the world wide web and search about it so I can sure that the news is legit and I've always go to coindesk or twitter reading some tweets related with bitcoin news.

bloomberg seems not too often in preaching about bitcoin dude then maybe we should look at the bitcoin news website specifically for information about cryptocurrency like coindesl, reddit, and so on. I most often heard from this forum. users here often share news good about bitcoin

I also usually get information about bitcoins form youtube. For me it's always better to hear the news than to read articles. There are plenty of channels available on bitcoin ecosystem and most of them are very informative. I did follow them by choosing with most views and also read the comment section. You can get nice advices and website suggestions also from there.

but to me i most of the information about bitcoin get from bitcointalk.org. but you can see that in present time you can get information about anything on social media. so i also get information about bitcoin form social media and also from my friends.

Besides here, obviously, I use Google News (you can enter in topics of interest) to have a steady stream of info. They pick up CoinDesk and the like alot, but they don't catch all the specialized sites. Inversely, they catch the Bitcoin articles in the mainstream publications.

Reddit isn't that bad, lot of crap to wade through sometimes, however. But if it happens on the internet, it usually happened at Reddit first ;D

This forum gives me all the info about bitcoin. The first information that there was always appear here. I opened the various threads and I had a discussion here. I feel happy because I was part of bitcointalk.

That is correct bitcointalk give us update for bitcoin but we need to have initiative to search what is the new update because only co-users who are gives us update in bitcoin, for me always google gives me update about bitcoin then the additional is from bitcointalk.

Most of what I read about bitcoin I get here at the forums. Other sources of news for me are coindesk and some blogs around the net. There are not a lot of news you could find because people are not yet that interested about it. Maybe a campaign to help raise awareness is needed to involve more people in the bitcoin community.

in my country reddit has been blocked, not know the reason, but if i need news or want to open it im use VPN or TOR browser.

Most users prefer Reddit. I always prefer using CCNA.la for other sources of news gathering. It gives notifications even if we were not aware of updates.

I am always active on facebook aside from bitcointalk ,so in my case i get news about bitcoin on facebook since I follow group and like  different Facebook pages related to bitcoin Smiley. BBC World news also bring some highlights on the currents events for Bitcoin but mostly its on facebook groups that i get my news.

i recommend the site reddit beccause if some fake news start to spread out there, people would easily and quickly correct it before it will do more damage in the community. Coindesk is also a good site because the design is simple and the news are easily back up by many sources. But if your on haste, just google it but be sure you are familiar with those sites so you can reassure that it is true.
