what do u think my friends as btc is a digital currency will it replace real currency and become the largest used currency.

I do not thing Bitcoin will replace entire fiat national currencies such as dollar or euro, but it can serve as an alternative economy to the otherwise collapsing and scammy fiat violence issued money.

Along with PM's, BTC/ crypto will most likely be the future of money.  It is the best option available for a fiat dominated world.  Nothing else i've seen  comes close to a sensible option

I think bitcoin will be another currency that will be used over the world, but fiat money will not disapear.

It already is, and it is a real currency already.

It just needs more members and merchants to use it.

I can see bitcoin will be our future no just an online currency but also a real currency. When bitcoin will hit mainstream, I think that will be the start of the future :)

It is definitely the largest cryptocurrency now. But I doubt that it's may replace all real currencies.

As i see bitcoin is going in thar direction, to be the largest and most used currency in the world. Yet many people didn't heard about it, many are still suspicious. How much time bitcoin will need to be fully accepted it's pure speculation. Personally I support it and I talk about bitcoin with people that never heard about it, some people work much more to promote bitcoin and that is what we need now, to work together and only that can put bitcoin on place where it belongs "to the moon".

Governments won't allow that. For now bitcoin is in its infancy stage, and it is more of a experiment, curiosity or toy so authorities turn a blind eye on it.
As they see that bitcoin is threat to national currency they will regulate it to the point it will be probably useless.

Funny how they allow blockchain, but ban bitcoin? They will have a lot of explaining to do to their voters.

And as the economy gets worse and worse, i guess the majority of the people will turn to bitcoin.

There is a relatively high chance that it might well be the case. If not, it will definitely be something based on blockchain technology.

I do not have any doubt on bitcoin would be the largest online money will be used. Because the growth potential behind Internet and bitcoin are immense. Both will evolve over time exponentially. So the growth of bitcoin would be unimaginable in future.

No one can tell this. Even because there can be credit or debit card connected with bitcoin. Everything will depend from the convenience. If the use of bitcoin will be more cheap there has big probabilities that he became the most used. If the credit/debit card will waived their fees for payments in internet or will decrease those in a minimum level I don't think that bitcoin will replace so. It is not so spread like the credit/debit card. Anyhow, bitcoin will remain for sure the preferred currency for their who will want to remain anonymous in doing payments.

I hope so. but I doubt it will happen though and i mean BTC will be widely use online but like it will be casually used by consumers.

yeah but bitcoin, need to do this asap, or new tech may emerge and steal its position, there is no infinite time for bitcoin to succeed

Bitcoin will not grow in volume with the economic growth. Its value will grow but this will make people hang onto it to spend later at greater value. Great reserve currency, ultra liquid gold. And buying stuff with it cuts all BS out of the transaction. It has a place, but will never replace fiat currency. It will keep them more honest. Wonderful addition to world currencies.

Do not bank on that happening soon. The banks are trying their best to develop their own version of the Blockchain to trump whatever was done with the Bitcoin Blockchain. You will see a lot more private Blockchains with their own currency tokens and even some government flavors.

The main difference will be, what the people will support? A private centralized currency or a decentralized currency under no centralized control.  ???

The title and the OP are asking two different things. Your title asks if bitcoin will be the largest online currency, which uh, yeah. It is the largest online currency, as there are no other online currencies besides altcoins. You might be referring to PayPal, which is not a currency, but now of a credit/payment processor.

But according to the OP, you ask of whether bitcoin will replace a fiat currency and be the most used currency in the world, I think not, as countries usually are very fixated on their stock currency. Governments also love to have control over the supply of money. Maybe if a big country makes makes their own altcoin, we might see a hugely popular digital currency.

It's already being used as a digital currency

I don't believe it will be able to replace real currency, it may become the largest; which is possible and I can see that happen

But it will take a lot of adjustment for this to happen

I don't think that Bitcoin will ever replace any currency and that shouldn't be a goal of ours. We are here to bring a competition in the financial world and to improve it as much as we can.

I just wish that Bitcoin becomes a viable option for the whole world to transact in, if they wish and want. If we would become just that, we would be huge.

well what i guess its already a volatible alternative cause of big flowtuations of the coin if the not state a fixed price the btc will never be todays currency into net

Perhaps Bitcoin has no borders to it besides cryptography and the technology to use it, that is to its benefit as any government country individual or organization can use it without the fear of border control for payments and makes it easy to process because we can trust in the blockchain.

At the very least it has the potential to be one lingua franca of currency, give it more time and the ecosystem of merchant payments and it will become a gateway just as others before it to bank storage, records and remittance.

With bitcoin, anything is possible.

This will only depend on how people view it. as more people get to know and use it, they will compare it with the other currency. advantages and disadvantages will arise, then from this you can tell if it will be totally accepted. but i dont think that it will totally replace the other currency. thank you

If bitcoin is still there in 2030, it will be the largest or the second largest currency. Apart from US dollar, other currency has too few users worldwide.

It could be possible, there is a very small chance. The government will not want to relinquish control over real currency so easily. Although the level of popularity on a global scale could pressurize the authorities to give BTC an equal value to real currency too.
