He should have left Belize after this:

If true, basically he was targeted because he was rich and a good target for blackmail.

I used to live in Belize and as I recall murder is illegal there also. Of course the accused is going to say that he is really in trouble for not donating to an orphanage.

"Don't look at that look over here instead!"  ::)

There is a history he had with the police there.  They basically raided his place looking for something earlier this year and all they found is out of 10 guns, 1 had incorrect paperwork.   This is all after asking for a 'donation' that he refused to give.

I am not sure that Mcafee is innocent, but it sure seems like a set up to me.

My favorite is to yell "LOOK! A DISTRACTION!" and point somewhere random.

It's surprising how often that works too! I guess they don't pay attention to the last part, they just hear "LOOK!" and see you point your finger.

What's the "'tree-cops'" reference. Even Google don't know.

Tree-cops is a reference to the hallucinations a stimulant abuser suffers after a long binge. IE they see imaginary cops in the trees or made out of swaying tree branches.

I see.
I guess that's one reason to have these two around.

The guy on the right would be too fat to chase an attacker and the guy on the left would loose his pants because they are so baggy.

Thus the high-powered rifles and scopes. No need to chase, when you can take your time and aim.

Ha, unless the fat one shoots his foot off.  That is bad gun safety he is practicing with his finger on the trigger.

That's just pure, unadulterated stupidity, is what it is.

What is? Proper firearm safety?

I also read in the NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/02/business/john-mcafee-plays-hide-and-seek-in-belize.html) today that McAfee has started to release tweets while he hides.

No, improper firearm safety, swinging a gun around like that with your finger on the trigger.

McAfee doesn't scrub the EXIF location data from photos posted on VICE.  Then he lies about it.

This case is fun to watch, Lulz aplenty.
