Title: Magic cards
Post by: spazzdla on November 09, 2015, 06:04:03 PM
Just bought a deck from http://www.abugames.com/ :). They take bitcoin!!!

Was putting covers on my old cards (1995-1997) and was wondering if any sites that sell them take BTC, ah ya they do lol.

Anyone else play magic?  By chance in the Toronto/Hamilton area.

Pretty great info, I play too much magic. Unfortunately from Califronia, but Bitcoin for magic cards?  Sounds good to me.

No one else plays magic?!?!!

I have my old collection - my first bitcoin website was magic4bitcoin.com but I basically dismantled it because it got no interest.  I would play, maybe, but I've been busy doing other things and can't find time to play.  I was into it maybe 10 years ago.

Used to play MTG back in the day. Purchased an Unlimited Edition set of the Power Nine here on the forums a while back in BTC, to add to my collection.

Have a couple full sets of Revised (Third) Edition, The Dark, and Fallen Empires. Stopped playing around the time Ice Age and Homelands came about but never really got into collecting whole sets after completing the Revised Edition collections. Still have a sealed box of Revised booster cards in a safe I plan on selling in a few decades.

Have been playing the crap out of Hearthstone lately. MTG Online never really did it for me.

Hearthstone!! I haven't played that one in a few months.  How is that new mission thingy?  I just bought Legacy of the void, I want to beat that mission series.  I really like the SC story.. I played SC1 when it first came out for some time.  Although I was a super noob cause I was just a kid lol.

MTG online was okay, it needs more stuff going on.  Some sort of PVP or that random card mode that hearth has something like that.

Im just east of toronto and still play mtg.  For the most part i just play cube and edh with my friends now.  The cube is great when i get the itch to draft but I love playing EDH all of the time.   Im up to 10 different edh decks and counting and they all range from casual to competitive.  Im actually contemplating selling most of my modern and legacy staples to pick up more edh staples.  Are there any good cardshops in the Hamilton area? I get stuck out there every so often when i have to pick up my gf from work and it would be nice to have a place to drop into for a quick game or just to grab some singles when im killing time.

You know what MtGox stood for ?

I started a Sports card trading business in the early 90's twice did well for myself at 16 yrs old.
I turned a pack of Hockey cards from the corner store into a money making business.
Never got into the Magic ones though.

We all know how MtGox started, lets let that word die.

That is awesome!!!  I play it here and there, nothing very serious.

That is awesome that they take BTC.  There are more and more people looking into BTC to accept as a form of payment.  The issue you have with this is that these states are making laws treating the BTC as a currency when the IRS does not treat it as a currency.  It is kinda of a catch 22.  You have to wonder but I am glad more and more people are taking BTC.
