Howdy Cryptonites! Are you a Bitcoin Blogger with a staggering knowledge or research on the Bitcoin market which you intend to blog about and then make lots of money from it? I coined the word Bitcopreneur from two words (obviously): Bitcoin and Entrepreneur, which talks mainly on Entrepreneurship and Business(es) in Bitcoins. Why am I selling it? I have a great passion for Bitcoin but passion doesn't equal knowledge. I always wanted to teach people about Bitcoin and then make money from the Blog but it just turns out that my knowledge isn't sufficient enough. I've bought and sold several adult domains in the past, and the general rule of thumb for the asking price is between 1 and 3 years worth of income... This means, in my opinion, this website should have an income of 22.000+ USD/year in order to be worth 175BTC. First of all, let me point out I'm actually selling a domain and not a website. As stated earlier, I was about to start up a blog on Bitcoin Entrepreneurship but realized I didn't have the sufficient knowledge to handle that niche, thus, rather than let it waste, I put it up for sale. Why Such a price? Before coming up with such a domain, I took a great deal of Keyword Research and studied the market of Google Adword a bit and found out that certain Bitcoin keywords cost up to $56/click (which when managed perfectly (assuming the user goes for paid per click network), could result to a positive ROI on the buyers part within 1 or 2 years depending on his/her traffic margine but like I said, it is a negotiable price tag and I haven't given any limits as to how low the price can be haggled to. That's nice, but if you're valuing your domain based on keywords it's worth 0: http://www.estibot.com/appraise.php?a=appraisal&k=070e21a735dac16b566ee6153d8e8809&domain=bitcopreneur.com You see, there are only 2 recent domain name sales ending in preneur: solopreneur.com - $11K webpreneur.com - $1k There's a difference between "makes sense in my head" and being a desirable domain other people want to buy. Your keyword is bitco, and even if it were bitcoin, it wouldn't really be desirable with this ending. |
