There are two sorts of hardware for BTC Mining chips (21inc) and security chips (e.g. ledger wallet) Mining chips have to improve their processes - e.g. 14nm - to be more and more energy efficient. There is no big deal with state of the art security chips… its all state of the art crypto… well the random generator should be as good as possible… However, what do you think should be improved for this type of hardware (e.g. ledger wallet (smartcard chip))? ??? ???
