Title: mining on a raspberry
Post by: xleejohnx on November 17, 2015, 02:28:52 AM
i have everything setup and running..
my miner isnt hashing to speak.
BES 0:    | 330.2/331.4/0.00Mh/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none

im guessing i missed a step somewhere.

if anyone has any idea it would be appreciated

What miner exactly are you using? Without that we can't give you a definite answer.
Looks like maybe a 333Mh/s block erupter, if that is so the raspberry probably doesn't have enough volts to give it in order for it to function.

you need a good usb powerd hub (dlink hub7 is the best for the pi but a bit pricey) just an FYI you wont earn much might still make a loss on power but its a fun project

did you build from source for it to work on the PI?

I cant answer your question about minepeon, but if you want an easy way to solomine, just use ck's solo pool instead. Basically the same result with a lot less hassle. Good luck!

im doing something similar on a raspberry. I'm getting a weird error.

Its giving me this.

Bitmain detect (1:19) failed to initialise (incorrect dev
ice?)

and no devices detected.

I built CGminer from the github repo.

any suggestions would be great.
