Title: Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme for $150 (availability)
Post by: doomy on June 06, 2011, 06:21:40 AM
Recently (April 21), Sapphire brought back (http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/media/?psn=0004&articleID=3391) the 5850 and 5830 for very low MSRP ($150 and $130 USD). I've been searching all over the net for the 5850, but it seems like no one has them in stock a month after release. Did anyone manage to grab some of these cards?

Most places have them out of stock : Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graphics-100282XTREME/dp/B004W75ATI), tiger direct (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=199805&SRCCODE=SHOPPINGDF&cm_mmc_o=2mHCjCmtB55bETCjCVqHCjCdwwp&cpncode=21-117461383-2)

Are there any other stores that carry this particular card?  ;D

Those cards ran out a month ago a few weeks after they were reintroduced to the market.

They aren't sold anywhere anymore, and haven't been for nearly a month, and wont be restocked.

Thanks for the answer, I'll just have to search B&M in case they got some stock of these cards. Amazon review suggested one was sold recently, and says they are temporarily out of stock (but yeah it was probably a limited production)
