I have done some stone carving myself, is this stone fairly hard? I'm guessing it is similar hardness to limestone. Maybe marble. Seems less granular. It has a beautiful finish. Do you have any pics of your workshop. Like I say I've done a little carving, mostly hand tools and a pneumatic chisel on soft marble. Nothing as nice as what you have made.
