While it may be possible for the price of a bitcoin to increase the value of a coin may change.  I may be a noob but if the product is traded there could be a time when a bitcoin actually splits similar to a stock right.  This will make it more difficult to track.  A 2 - 1 or 3 - 1 split would reduce the price and extend the value of bitcoins right?  making the ability of a bitcoin to never hit 50k

The price is going up so fast that what was a dream last year is pretty much up for grabs now. I've just read a $14k prediction by some analyst. If that happens you will pretty much be able to get a 2002-2003 in good shape. And to think that when the thread was made you weren't able to buy a stupid tire for 1 BTC.

It good to be optimistic about something you dearly love but in 5years I don't see you buy a car of $133,850 with 1bitcoin but if we're talking about 8-9years that is possible because 2 halving would have occur that time which will also dump the price of bitcoin.

Undamaged and less than a year old is the rules, plus that's a starting bid and it needs to be a 911. Even so triple digit, let alone single digit, BTC for any Porsche would've felt far, far out when this thread began.

Thats an awesome movie but theres a fair argument the two prices will move in parallel, I've tried to say this before on any larger projected figure its going to be against the backdrop of all prices moving upwards ie. dollar purchasing power or PPP alters substantially.

Its also moved another 2k in these moments so certainly short term its outpacing less volatile prices.

To be honest by Nov 16, 2022, you might be able to buy 2 new 911's, or one new Turbo or GT3, if so inclined. Bitcoin price just goes up and up.

May I suggest maybe another idea is to get a 997.2 manual for 1/2 a bitcoin, perhaps a GTS or turbo. 997.2's are last of the true Porsche before drive by wire. I think 997.2's (year 2009-2012) will be collectibles.

I have a 2010 997.2 convertible and it is a joy to drive. No real issues with it so far with the car

I think 997.2 hardtops have stopped depreciating, especially the manual versions of the S and GTS. In fact they may be going up in price. Good condition ones with low miles are getting harder and harder to find.

The Targa and convertible ones still have a little bit more to fall, I think. My ride is year 2010, 28k miles, excellent condition cabriolet 2 (non-S)...kelly blue book says it is $47k. I think it might go down to around $42k and stop there. I think the targa would have the same depreciation curve.

997 2 manual as well as all manuals 997 in my opinion are future collectibles

a funny fact is that for someone who lives in my country it would have to have at least 5 BTC and the price of BTC would have to have the price of  $100,000 to buy such a Porsche, this is because tax on import of vehicles charged in my country Is very high which makes 3X more expensive to import a car and to make matters worse in my country there is no car factory. which means that even if the person had a Porsche like that it would be very expensive to maintain it and buy parts
