Post by: jdh015232 on November 28, 2015, 12:33:37 AM
hello, i just saw this black friday deal from bitmain, a
nd before i knew it, i had bought 2 antminer s7 for nearly 6 BTC to address 1NbA3NtMtt39mQxSEr55Ai1VhHWehNukj5

https://www.bitmain-tech.com/productDetailb78e.php?pid=000201511170341298180m44675v0613

this was the website, and as i go through all the other links, i realize now that it is a fake. but i have already sent my 6 BITCOIN!!! please tell me this is a real bitmain site?!?

now i see, as i place any other orders. it all says send to the same address. so now i have been scammed all of my savings in bitcoin. awesome, this is why people get turned off. i was so into bitcoin, and have worked so hard to aqcuire the few bitcoins that i had, and now i am guessing they are all gone. this really hurts me and my family.

please nobody else use this site. can bitmain maybe respond, or help us out here? it looks like 1 other person has sent coins also...

I'm sorry for your loss. Hopefully this was not a lot of money for you.

As a general rule, most manufacturers of miners are running on very thin margins, so it is unlikely they are ever going to offer these kinds of deals.

Plus miners really are not going to make very good christmas/holiday gifts because you cannot realistically expect to be able to hold them for any amount of time and not have them running and still be able to potentially roi with them.

unfortunately, it is alot of money for me. my sister has medical bills and the miners were meant for me to be able to help her out more. now i cannot help her at all.
the miners were for me, not a gift, and u can ROI if you sell the miner back to someone at the rite time.
bitmain has run specials before like by 3 get free shipping, i thought it was just another with limited supply. i was in and out all day with hollidays and family, and did it quickly in between running here and their, i didnt have time to sit down and research and double check everything like i ussually would. i saw it, thought about it while i was with family, got back home and quickly made the transaction before leaving to meet with more family.
i was hoping for a response from bitmain, i sent a support ticket immediately, but nothing as of yet. it would be great if they would help and maybe report these fake websites to their govmt. or something needs to be done, i dont see how they can just allow an exact copy of their website to stay up without warning people.
maybe bitmain can send me some old miners, oh well, thank you for your help
