Title: [SOLVED] Dustdice Avatar Campaign - Payment not received
Post by: Tstar on December 03, 2015, 08:26:19 AM
I already sent a pm to RayBrady https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=602532 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=602532) to ask why there was no payment on my moneypot account but I had no answer in more than 48 hours.
Then I went on contacting Mitchell who was the escrow of the campaign and he told me to wait before opening this thread which I did.
Now the campaign thread is locked and my only way to get this ball rolling is to open this thread.

I hope it was only carelessness from RayBrady who forgot my name.

I did his campaign and he needs to pay what we agreed. So here am I. I'll wait 48 hours and then I will update the thread subject with SCAM and I am going to leave a negative trust to the user.

Hope to get this right, thanks for reading

If you fulfilled the terms of the campaign then you should have nothing to worry about with Mitchell as the escrow. I can't see a site owner making all payments then deciding to not pay one member to scam a few cents. Stranger things have happened though I guess. I'll leave feedback until you get payment which I'm sure you will get.

Why shouldn't he be worried? I did my escrow duties and sent the money back to RayBrady, before he paid his participants. That was the agreed upon escrow deal (and I clearly stated this in my post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1229701.msg12823415#msg12823415)).

In other words, if something would have happened to RayBrady during the campaign, I could have paid the participants with the escrowed Bitcoins. But now, after the campaign finished, I can't do anything for Tstar.

This user is correct, I only found out yesterday that I cannot tip users's who have not visited DustDice at least once. That said, I went back through the list and tipped those user's manually via MoneyPot. After checking logs, it seems that every participant was tipped except for Tstar. Even for a smaller amount like 0.02, we apologize for the mistake and it will be sorted out shortly.

The amount of 0.02 has been tipped to your MoneyPot account. After getting a burst of PM's regarding the campaign and such, I somehow seemed to have missed your PM. It's ok that you opened a thread, although the next time you can always leave a message on the DustDice chat, as I do check that more often. I have no intention to deceive anyone, for any amount.

Confirm that you have received it and let me know if you need anything else :D. This does remind me that a proper support system should be put into place very soon, rather than running it via the forum thru PM's and threads like these.

Have a great day,
~Ray

I'd just like to say, it was under 24 hours from the PM until you opened this thread :( but that's ok, I just didn't like how you said it was over 48 hours. It's no biggie not that it's resolved, but it does make a bad image which is not really true. I hope we can just forget as if I never forgot to pay 1 member :D

Hi RayBrady,

I received the payment. As you can see from my post I said

I'm sorry but I did follow all the steps without making a fuss out of it. Since there are lots of untrustworthy people around I did it.
That's not your case.

This is solved.

Thanks!

I forgot I should lock this thread. I updated the subject accordingly and I sent a positive feedback to RayBrady.
