Updated price (lower) on 11/27/12

I am selling the 1/10 oz. silver rounds (can't legally call them coins) shown above for 0.34 BTC each. Prices are subject to change depending on the spot price and exchange rates. Shipping is extra. If you are interested, send me a PM.

I'm surprised that nobody is interested in these. I thought that people would jump at the chance to buy silver in bite-size portions. Maybe they are too expensive? I'm willing to lower the price if someone want to buy a bunch.

It's literally pointless to buy bullion over spot if it isn't in bank recognized form. (coins or bars issued by a governmental mint)

I counted 39 coins. Is that correct? If you are willing to sell under SPOT drop me a pm

not pointless, just a lower premium value, and more difficult to sell. They will sell, silver is silver, but its more difficult to find a buyer on the lower end of the scale below, as people will have the same more difficult time selling them as you will.

Government mint coins/bars > Generics from recognized companies > Generics from non recognized companies > Scrap silver

Well, everybody handles this differently. Some people might not scrutinize as much if they think they'll never come into the situation to sell it again, perfectly understandable but that does not mean it's a good deal.

Thank you everyone for your comments and offers. I bought these recently with the intention of reselling because I thought there would be a lot of interest from people wanting to by small amounts of silver with LTC (or BTC). I paid more than spot (but less than retail), so I guess I will have to sit on them for a while.

you can sit on them or sit on btc or ltc which could increase more in value than silver

That's always an important consideration the most people neglect. In this case, I don't have enough evidence to justify action, so I choose inaction.

There are others interested so I can't sell all 40. I will sell 10 for 3.4 BTC plus 0.1 BTC for shipping (1st class letter) assuming you are in the U.S.

So many countries say this, but I have not had an issue sending Casascius Coins (including silver) anywhere.

I describe it as a "medallion".

If I ship them in capsules within DVD mailers, well, I have never had one go missing or ever heard anyone had a problem.

Yes. It says "1/10 troy ounce" and ".999 fine silver". You can barely make those out in the closeup/blurry picture. You can also get more information/background by doing a google search for "medjugorje silver rounds"
