They will host your website for $5 per month. You're being charged per hour, so you can stop using them whenever you want, without having to pay $5 per month.
Regarding domains, didn't namecheap have like $3 domains, or something similar? If you don't have lots of traffic i suggest you to try free hosting rather than cheap hosting as what you got on cheaper hosting is almost same in free hosting. I am currently using host1plus paid hosting for around 2.5$ per month with paying from bitcoin. 1and1 also has a free domain offer for new customers, so id take advantage of that. Hostinger.co.uk has cheap hosting, great cpanel & is giving free .xyz domains to anyone who wishes to but with the 0.14 ICANN fee. You can grab a tld domain from godaddy or 1&1 and if it's your first time with them it'll be 0.99. As of budget hosting, it depends on what you're looking to host. Imo if you have low requirements and all you care about is not paying much then look into shared hosting plans. All providers have decent offers for shared hosting, you should find some very frugal ones. |
