Title: PCIe adaptor DIY question Post by: The Koolio on June 07, 2011, 03:51:01 AM Hi,
I need about 20 of these x1 to x16 adaptor ribbons but I cant afford waiting over a week for delivery, can someone show me how to make my own DIY style so that I can attach my 5870 cards to my motherboard x1 slots. Is it possible for me to just slot 2 cards into my x16 slots and then use two of these adaptors in the remaining two x1 slots? Also will I need dummy dvi/vga adaptors to make the computer think they are attached?
