I am never going to gamble again. I never win, I just hate it, god damn it!
Screw all those casinos, they all become rich because people play and lose their coins. It is imposible to win from the house. I suggest everyone to stop because it is bad!

But your signature just draws my in like a slice of pumpkin pie!! Anywho ive actually have made $40-$50 in profit for the like 4 days off of a site. But sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

Gambling is frustrating but the problem that most people have is not knowing when to stop.  When they are losing money they want to break even so the spend more money and in most cases lose more and when they are winning they get greedy and try to win more but end up losing it all.  It's all about self control!

I getcha pain though fruit it is horrible when you lose and if it makes you feel like this when you lose you're probably playing with more than you can afford. I used to and it sucks.
You just need to take a look at Vegas to know how well the house does because that is what it was built from, if the house never had the edge it would not be open for business.

That probably doesn't make any sense. Anyway, as someone else posted above, learn how to play poker if you want to gamble. Poker is skill-based. As such, the more you improve your skills, the more likely you are to win. It takes time, but the opportunity is there if you put in the work.

you should quite gambling for a while because losing makes you angry and when you are angry you go on full mode crazy gambling that will make you lose all your savings

There is no skill that will help you, the pay-back is always less than 1 and the more often you gamble the more you lose.

 If you bet an amount B, on average you will get back somewhere between .85 and .98 of it.  Lets pick a number like 0.95 and play a few times (like 100 times) to see what happens:

 B x 0.95^100 ~= 0.006B  <--- that's less than 1% of your original money left.

 This is how all gambling works.  ALL gambling.

the house doesnt always win, it just tends to win more often than it loses because the games are designed so. that being the case, i think it would be in op's best financial interests to just stay off of gambling as he says.

Well there's a reason as to why casinos are still around, and it is certainly not because they are able to run off of government subsidies. They have to make money somehow, and they are certainly not interested in giving it away to people. There will be a few lucky winners who will earn large sums of money, but they are the minority, and not everyone will be able to win millions, or even thousands.

There are strategies that you can use to win more than you lose, and some sites are exploitable through this method, but msot sites relying completely on luck are not.

Learn to lose, what do you really mean by this? Nobody has enough to do a trial and error on gambling sites.

You seem frustrated man. Don't give up hopes so easily, you can't waste all your money on gambling and be sad about it. People have won before in gambling but ofcourse it takes time and patience. Try changing your games or the website you plan on. If you think having luck just isn't part of your game then try playing some skill based games or live poker. At this point, just quitting gambling wouldn't be a bad option as well.

i can feel your paid as i also losted my whole signature payment few days back playing dice game, but now i have stopped it. playing in gamble we should have control on our betting this is what i learned when i was winning i play less and leave it, but when i started loosing i played more and lost my bankroll . this week i will get my signature payment back then will try back my luck.  ;) .

I was in the same situation some time ago and i eventually had to get out of it cause i cashed out everything i had in coins.

That will be the gambling thing. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose too. All of gambling games are depends on your luck though. There are some guys that also become rich because of hitting some jackpot from casino. There is no way you can win from the house, busted their casino but you can win some of their money but after that you must stop and never continue it but still you can try other site to try your luck there

If I win then it is always a small amount compared to my losing, even if i would play 1:1 the house will still win because of the fees. I just have the feeling that provably fair isn't fair, althoug it is proven, mayby some gltich or something that is hidden...

Well i went with series of 0,002 bets on circle and got 0,14  (from 0,15)back. Then I threw remaining 0,02 jadecoins in and won one and lost another. So 0.16 win total. Its best to split the chance when wagering. If you went in with 4-5 big bets then its more about the luck...

I bet 10% of my bankroll at 1.25X, lost. Then 40% of my bankroll at 1.25x, lost. Then did all in the remaining bankroll at 1.25X and also lost, that is so strange, and also made me sad. Sports betting is even worse, always something ruins your bet...

Very true. If you gamble only for fun with a reasonable small amount, losing is not a problem. It is just like spending some money on a good meal or a concert, you would not feel losing the money as long as you have fun in it.

The problem is people are always overly optimistic about gambling. They thought that  with a little bit of luck they will become rich and lose only a little money in the process.

That is why you always have to gamble not to win, but to lose. I know how that sound, but with this mindset your gambling loses won't hurt you so much.

Then found some left-overs from a trade going wrong on an exchange and decided to stake it on a gambling site. You should know the consequences before you start gambling.
You cannot always win when you gamble, is not it? You are not always lucky all the time because you might sometimes win and sometimes lose. And only bet what you can afford to lose.

The reason why I don't particularly think that betting is worth it is that most everyone who is betting also knows their stuff, so the games that have a high percentage of winning have pretty horrible odds (1.02:1). Once in a while, a good team screws up and you're left with little to nothing.

Basically, gambling is based on luck game. Maybe you're just not lucky enough when you gambled. Gambling is a fast way to earn much profit but it's not a good way. Based on luck game never be a good way to earn profit because someday you will lose everything which you have got before.

I don't think it at the moment is bad or something knocks humanity out of the way, though, if there is a need not digestion of gambling, you can offer yourself for example a bet on a sporting event or just to abandon this as a personal yourself and put attention on the more easily

Even though I am not an active gambler, I only gamble like once every 2 - 3 months, I think this is the best advice out there. It's better to use the money that you could lose, to invest into something like bitcoin rather than to lose it.

Dude just treat gambling as if it was a game, don't try to take it serious because it will drive you insane. It's fun and exciting to test your luck once in a while, there is something magic about that, but you have to control how much you get into that state of mind because if you start you may not be able to stop. well there is one mistake that you did in writing about the house edge yes it is impossible to beat the house edge completely though its possible to win in a short run against it for sure and there were some people who managed to make a living out of gambling i dont advise doing that but i honestly believe it is possible

Sorry about the losses. Gambling should always be entertainment and never viewed as a way to make money. Sure, you can "get lucky". But realize it's luck and don't count on winning, just enjoy it if it happens. But you should only play with money you are willing to "spend" on entertainment.

If anyone here starts a own casino it is a guaranteed profit because the win chance and losing chance is 50% but there is a house edge so the casino will run in profit, as long as you set the max bet to 10% or lower of the casino bankroll, u will become rich.

I'm glad you decided to stop. It's never a good thing to keep on gambling when you are already suffering from your losses. It's best to gamble with a budget and only when you can afford to lose that amount. If not, it wouldn't be the best decision to start gambling.

It being everyday is not good mate. You should take a couple of weeks of from depositing and playing. $200 is not a small amount by most people standards that would pay a weeks rent where I live. So that explains why it stresses you out because you are playing with what you can't afford to lose. Take a break is my advice.
You are right about winning on play money as far as I know that is all casinos both fiat and btc provably fair and not. It is there to get you suckered in by winning more than normal so you make cash deposits. That is shady but not cheating . Check google as to why you win on play money more than real. As long as you check your bets on a provably fair reputable site you should be good and have nothing to worry about.

no, thats what the casinos want you to think, they want you to see the price of losing your bankroll as a fee for playing, as if you intended to lose your money there in the first place. if youre going to play at a casino, you should have the mindset to win, not pay all your money for a bit of fun.

My rule is never use your own money.
Use faucets i made 0.04 off faucet and rainbot on bitvest just a few days ago.
Kinda like playing a facebook game with freemoney.

How do you earn 0.04 bitcoins with that? That bots only gives you 10k satoshi per 3 minutes, and a faucet also gives not much.

I use bitvest i just build using teal line and a custom purple i build to 100k sats multiple times a day and just set up bounties with what i win.

faucets should be used to just test out a site, not seriously be considered as a source of profit. you're playing with a fraction of a penny and hoping you hit a ridiculously low multiplier on a game with losing odds already. its a waste of time, and the return is just not worth the time you need to put into it. ever.

Making big profits just from faucets of gambling sites, is not at all possible.
Faucets just can be used to test the house's behaving and testing for our strategies. With faucet money, we never be able to bet on decent amount of satoshi. Low bets are good for long run or for testing our skills.

The casinos will always win, that's their business, however you can have some fun and be entertained just the same. Using faucets and waiting for a rainbot is depends on your activity right but not all people have a lot a things to say in chat some of them only want to drop bitcoin there so there is no chance that they will get this rainbot. And one more thing is there are many people that will be like faucet abuser. And not all site will give this freely so I think this must be reconsider again to let people keep on abuse the faucet

It is hard to quit cold turkey because of that little voice that keeps telling you that you can must get back what you have lost. That is the hardest part of letting go of gambling. It is the devils voice I tell you  :D
But if Fruitbasket says he has not played since he started this thread, I believe him. If you are a strong willed person you can overcome any obstacle especially gambling. It is sickness that does not need to be in people's lives, that goes especially for this time of year when it can ruin not just your life but your families and everyone's around you as well.

I agree it is hard to quit cold turkey that's why I gave him my advice. This is just the same for alcoholics or general addicts. Why ban yourself out of something forever and ever? Why the extremes? What you want to achieve is the comfort to play or drink just a little, not to get wasted or bet to win what you've lost in the last year...

If you quit cold turkey, the temptation becomes stronger and you could end up betting more when you succumb. Just play some dollars each week if you enjoy it and see if you win something. If not, you had fun.

It's not too bad if you gamble every now and then. But if you gamble every now and then and just keep on going until you lose it all then yes that's bad.
If you gamble everyday and lose everyday as well, you won't be able to recover from your losses.

I agree that gambling is not bad if you gamble once in a while, but I think OP is one of those people who once they start, they can't stop. In that case, you shouldn't try gambling for fun as it is a slippery slope if you are that type of person.

It would not be that scary too. Actually you can choose to live or stop playing it. Just the simple as that and never borrow money from loan shark. That is a bad thing when you are out of money. Most people will think they will earn if they still have a lot of money but in the end they will lose it. So it is pretty risky thing to do. You need to pay some interest to them and some for your recovering your loss. So that is pretty bad thing to do

i know what you feel,yeah gambling causes stress due to losing their money on casino,like me when I win, I just lose it again. there's no way to being rich by gambling, except being an owner, and then i change my habit just gambling for fun with my extra money and consider that money gone when you decide to bet it.

I just gamble when there is already a faucet at the site. I don't gamble my money from my wallet. Same with lotto scratchies at the c-store, I just buy one or 2 and scratch

For the likes of me who just gamble because of fun, you can't stop me. The only thing gambling becomes a problem is when you try to recoup your losses AND BEAT THE HOUSE, which will never happen in the long run. You can win on some days and some moments but after quite some time, the house will regain its losses and in the end you will lose what you've earned from gambling if you try to further your streak.

Nope, you are wrong. You can withdraw the money from faucets if you able to get it until the minimum of withdrawal process. Let say some site pay you 200 satoshi and you able to get 0.001 which is their minimum withdrawal I think you can send it back to your address. The problem is will you be able to do that? It is a long journey :D

I've used some faucet and sometimes small amounts of real money.  I think faucet money is way better than having play money of no value.  People like to test games and its more fun with real money. 

Also with some of the huge long shot odds games like dice can provide people can score a decent win even from the faucet.

3 days before i deposit 0,8 btc a dice game first i won balance up 1,03 btc later i lost all balance.

look like u have just gambled on sports and horses, why don't u try sth relates with maths, like hi-lo, dice, ... build up or learn some strategies.

I'm unable to agree with you. I have seen many people who have some some decent amounts to very big money from dice game. If you are not able to control your greedy over seeing your profits growing, then you will end up in blaming "no winning strategies".

The never won gamblers always will be forced one day or other to quit gambling when they run out of money. But that kind of situations they will face after sold out their property and with many loans.

Winning some money does not prove that way of playing is good. If I make a x2 bet and win it, does it mean "making a x2 bet" is a winning strategy or does it simply show that I am lucky? And nope I said "there is no winning strategies" not because I lost.
