For the past few days I've been humoring myself by yankin' some dude's chain via PMs. Here's the last PM I just sent him, with all the others forthcoming so that you, too, could enjoy the experience.

Poor dude just PMed me again.

Oh yeah, I tend to do the same to people asking for Bitcoins. Quite a fun story. Do I get 50$ for asking nicely?

Can't believe how silly thoses kids could be... Sometimes I feel that we need to implement an IQ test before joining here /accessing the Internet? (no).
Hopefully i didn't receive theses spam.. I don't have much time theses days to play with them anyway  :-\ but I get an idea from here, i know a trustworthy rich Filipino guy that could help him/her for sure  ;)

Did you know the Nigerian Princes give you a crazy story on purpose ? They do this to filter out the intelligent people that can think in  a critical manner, because that raises their success rate once people do reply :)

I have to admit that it is hilarious to see beggers/scammers getting the runaround like this. I am surprised just how gullible he is in continuing to PM you for days like this. I wonder how much time he spent waiting for those 360 second limits to expire for him to send a reply to you

I have an old buddy who use to check his mail on my PC after work and he went on and on arguing with me
about how his Nigerian scammer was legit.
And i kept telling him Google Man .. seriously LOL
When i met him i *warned* him i am a computer nerd..
He quickly told me "ME TOO" and that had had hacked a Bank for a million dollars and did jail time for it.
Then when he came by to use my Computer i could tell he was good at using his Yahoo email account ROFL

A lot of people -DO- believe in Nigerian scams and argue about it until the end of time.
The one my buddy got was a text book bit for bit exact classic scam and was easy to spot.
he got what every other guy on earth got.. some people really are -THAT- dumb :/

later my buddy moved to another town where he met a girl on a dating web site..
I told him don't move to Northern BC Canada in the winter.. it's cold dude !
Then he moved and after a couple weeks she threw him out for using her computer
to pick up more chick on dating sites ROFL
He called me asking if he could come back to Kelowna and move in with me..
i told him fuck no ..cya buddy have a nice life LOL

I know of a dude here in Sandwich, IL, who's almost as bad on Leroy Fodor. Almost, because this dude has yet to spread his lies on the Internet because he's not tech savvy, nor ever will he, now being 64 years of age.

About eight years ago he was hired on to detail cars (clean them spotless inside and out) at a used car lot. After being employed there for less than two weeks, he started bragging to everybody how he is part owner of the dealership.

Also, he still brags to this day about have a million-dollar-plus 401K that his sister controls, an impossibility because all his working history consisted of contract labor, never paid hourly where taxes were takin' out, etc. He now claims that the Social Security system is fucking him because he's only getting a little over a hundred bucks a month, his just reward for when he did work and paid taxes up to his very early twenties.

I have mega more stories about Tom, but you get the gist.

Glad you guys enjoyed the PMs. I was hopin' that the dude would continue the exchange, which he did, knowing that I would one day - last night - share them with you all. HAHAHA

This poor person should open a reputation thread about Gleb. Promising $50 and not delivering is a scam. And to add insult to injury Gleb is mocking them.

That is definitely wrong. This place is a collection of various people and personalities. You can encounter very interesting and amazing people that are completely different; the same principle applies to scammers. There is going to be a lot of people with various characters that are going to (try and) scam.

I seriously doubt these people who think that anyone would give them charity if they quote death (either their own death or any of their family members). Don't they get scared before saying that as if you lie it often comes true. I haven't received any begging pms but there were many users on this forum who tried to trick me to send them money first. Have also read threads where people are selling their body parts for bitcoins or exposing themself for the same. It's sick.

The guy may or may not be a scammer and afaik his trust page has a couple of positive and none negative. I don't jump to conclusions readily.

It is a melting pot for better or worse, but people who don't speak English well seem to absolutely love to scam people who do speak it well.  I think it's a valid generalization.

Wow, this made my day. I am recovering in hospital and this exchange is quite comical. Can't wait to see what happens to the scammer.

On a more serious note, when I'm discharged, I will continuing a CakePHP application ruling out any possibility of this happening. It's going to have borrower default insurance. I've already found a BCT member to partner up with me to put up the site.

They probably go for reputable people who are seniors or above.

They usually have more bitcoins, and might fall for this scam.

I got a similar PM a few weeks ago, but i just ignore these scams.

Tips ->Simple life hack to enjoy this forum :

1.When you're in the mood to learn stuff about bitcoins.Go through DannyHamilton's posts.

2.When you need good giggles bored out of our schedule,go through Gleb's posts.

And remember, Bacteria on Water is a major killer in some countries, but curable via U$50 gifts.
