Title: Anyone else getting ignored by Cryptsy?
Post by: AtheistAKASaneBrain on December 21, 2015, 01:41:20 PM
I think this is big enough to post in the main subforum, because these guys have no morals whatsoever. Im getting the infamous "you haven't logged for 6 months" message, and I've been sending a lot of emails for the past months since that message started appearing to get my account unlocked, without any success because they choose to ignore my emails. I have heard a lot of people getting ignored too. I can't believe these guys get away with it. Luckily I didn't have anything valuable in there because im not crazy enough to leave my Bitcoin in an exchange but it still pisses me off.

It's not just you , the whole world is getting this issue with them and you should be thankful , some people lost money because of them and the couple of billion threads on both scam accusation and service discussion sections can tell you the same thing .
So it's probably the last warning for people ... Withdraw while you can , we don't want Mtgox scenario to come back .

I really do not understand why people re so upset about another exchange going down. Withdraw everything and stop using them. There re tons of others.

Well another failed project is nothing to be proud of. And we have to change that mentality that bitcoin services cannot be trusted because they at risk of falling anytime.

Oh I don't know, maybe because people still have money on the exchange and would like to get it out??

OP, you're not alone as far as having a beef with Cryptsy and hopefully by now you've found the dozen other threads here about the same thing.  That message about not logging in for 6 months was one of the thread topics if I'm not mistaken.  Hopefully you can rectify that somehow and get your money out.  Everyone seems to be doing BTC--->DOGE and then withdrawing the DOGE.  Good luck, dude.

Well if you keep using them you will eventually stumble upon one that closes and you will be pissed too. Anyway like I said before, most of the stuff I had over there is just valueless shitcoins, my Bitcoins are the first thing I withdraw and never leave on exchanges.

I also have the same issue. The guys at cryptsy are not answering to customer and people who complain in the Troll box are getting banned.
Cryptsy is going GOX!

Cryptsy is going down, avoid it, or if u have coins there, withdraw.

If withdrawing were only that easy.

All of the major coins have withdraw issues

Major altcoins have the prices inflated on Cryptsy compared to other exchanges

Not enough volume on altcoins that are near average market value or coins not listed on other exchanges at all.

No matter how you slice it up you will lose either time, effort, or currency trying to withdraw from Cryptsy right now.

A account lock is terrible, denied help makes it even worser.
My experience with these kind of situation is to be supportive, patient and most of all polite.

Don't rust them (send a reminder every 2 days etc.).
P.S. From what i read on this forum, you can also get some help by joing their chat, although some people also complain they are banned on their chat too.

They have become a ghost exchange lately. Volume has dissapeared and with that their staff who answer our tickets.
Getting out of there is the best thing you can do.

Ive been banned from chat for nearly a week now. Its frustrating because at times I find myself wanting to ask for help with a ticket and not be able to say anything.

The only coins Ive been getting in and out of there are CON, SPRTS, & TIT.  Ive seen a handful of other coins mentioned in the chat as being successful as well, but I myself have not tried them.

I only have about 100LTC left on that exchange, and I find myself desperate at times to try and figure out how to move it off at minimal loss.  If I lose it though, I'd be a little mad but I'll get over it.  The crypto game is not for the faint of heart,... if you cant afford to lose, dont play.

Hmm I feel sorry for you.
You could try to make a new ticket and try a more mr. nice guy approach.

Again when you approach people in a nice and polite matter you come to that we are all humans in the end.

Tried the nice guy, tried the disgruntled guy, tried the flat out asshole guy... short of being the guy who drives 20 minutes to their offices and creating a scene, I'm out of guys to try.
