ASIC are supiour to FPGA devices atm. Look at http://www.butterflylabs.com/ They have honored their last devices of 832 Mhash, and I even had one at my house. You can order 60 Giga hash units for $1299, No joke. And it will crush this little 1.3 GH card to peices, I mean peices. Why spend 82.96X13.34=$1106.69. When you can get a device that is nearly 50X Times faster and close to the same price? |
