We have used this for more than a year without any issue. At the same time, we use the same method to download more than $1000 worth of games. The games will follow your Live Account and can be downloaded again even if deleted. The method for both the Live account and the game downloads is the same, however, while the Xbox Live Gold account seems to last nearly forever, the game downloads should all be done within the first thirty days.

I do not think so, in fact, I am almost certain it is not. This method involves no codes, no begging or scamming Microsoft to give up a code. It does not involve making new accounts to get codes, there are no codes used in any way. It strictly involves a method that makes the company believe that it is paid every month whether it is or not. There is no modding of the box, no software changes and you can continue forward the same as if you had paid for real.
