Title: Which site you don't want to gamble in 2016?
Post by: MinerHQ on December 30, 2015, 09:48:17 AM
I saw one poll which is asking about which site they like to gamble but for that most the signature campaign asking there members vote so I think it is not fair voting.

So I come up with this poll to know which site you don't like to play in 2016 so no houses can force or ask there member to vote for them.

Interesting idea, I'd like to hear others' opinions on all the current mainstream sites.

999dice because it's a scam... Not completely proven yet but I'd stay away in 2016.

It looks like we can see the results only after voting finish, until that we can's see the results. It is also good otherwise some manipulation can be done.

How come you haven't listed satohsimines? Though it doesn't exactly has gambling games like casino but totally based on luck which is the basic ideology behind gambling.I would not even bother to open satoshimines for this year and forever.

Let me guess this topic idea come from your problem with fortunejack signature campaign right?
Oh come on let it go. And move forward , your accusation about fortunejack getting bigger and bigger without any valid proof it's bad.
This topic just will make people take down each other and create hatred.
I don't think this is a good idea if you put some legitimate site to the list without any consideration.

There isn't any one site in particular I would choose not to gamble at in 2016. The only "bad" sites are scam sites.

I think you are after losing money fast, most of all people feels betrayed, and explain like  "highest house edge". I know that feeling.
all listed sites have their big losers, and receive vote

have to create the view that in the future year remained the most popular and interesting gambling sites, so nothing to distract from the game!, though
to create the illusion to replace and complement the live roulette and poker on an electronic form , to favorite hobby was always at hand, and thus filling the vigor and the entire year the accompanying luck!

I'm not going to name sites that I won't be gambling on. It's not very fair on site owners to trash talk their business unless the site has been proven 100% to be a scam. In that case trash talk away.

To be honest it's quite hard for me to answer because for now I did not had any bad experienced with any gambling sites I tested, but I did not used all of them in that list, so I will keep an eye to see any possible negative feedback from the users in this forum with some of the sites in that list.

this force to vote is not nice, i also don't like FJ very much, cause they promoted players wagered over 10 million btc there, and after one guy found the trick, they changed it to the "real" number- still over 600k btc wagered, i doubt it.

the other one is 999dice, which is a scam, voted for it.

Well i will probably never bet in satoshi mines again because i think it's not completely fair site as when i try to play their with there practice wallet i usually find all the coins without hitting mine even once but when i deposit after 2 or 3 games when i hit next i get the mine on the first try..i know they provide secret hash and everything but no one has time to check that everytime we play so i guess it records users pattern and know that where user is going to hit on the first try..Everyone has different opinions about this site and i am not saying it's a Scam but i think it's not a completely fair site so i would not bet there anymore :)

Satoshidice has a 1.9% house edge and I don't see why I should use it instead of the other more trustworthy sites with lower house edge. There are more than enough bad reviews on betcoin.tm and 999dice, and I don't see why I should take extra risk playing there.

probably yobit, i used it (their dice) way back when i was a part of their signature campaign and i say its the worst dice i've played with my bitcoins. i will definitely not gamble there next year, even in the next years.

They offer a game The Bitcoin Minesweeper @ https://satoshimines.com/ but i was unlucky a few times, which was clearly impossible.
Therefore i put them on my blocklist.

If  I could have multiple votes, I would vote for 999Dice because of how easily it could be rigged.

I heard 999dice commit fraud or deception, so many players who opt out of it
whereas once this site is the large dice site

999 Got a lot of bets, but I am prety sure some are fake run by some bot, pretending it's a busy legit site.
Fact is.. they are not.. Not by a long shot.

No, we are advising you not to roll at 999dice. If you want to find the site that most people recommend, there are many threads around the forum you can read.

How is it any different than all the other 'you'll win, we're provably fair!' gambling sites?

It claims to have a 0.1% house edge, but it has been proved that the site is flawed; it is not truly "provably fair." You can view the accusation thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=948965.msg10390504#msg10390504

I would vote for 999dice... Because it's such a retarded scam.

No wonder why most people chose that  ::)
Well, I guess 999dice not have enough capital to pay members, I also was not going to play in 999dice for now.
maybe I will play again when 999dice already has good news

Safedice. Because, honestly, even if they're not rigged, they certainly seem so. Their randomness verification is dodgy, and last time I bet there, it didn't work.

I've tried Rollin, which I personally love the most, and betcoin.tm. They're legit, despite all their Jadecoin giveaways.

999dice truly horrible gambling site so no doubt never want to play there again and into 2016 never for sure and it is suffering with so many problems at the moment so much risky to play there.

I wouldn't want to get on just-dice. Honestly, the site itself is great, but I hate how they only accept clams. I actually made profit on their site, but clams just so happened to drop. So I lost almost 0.2 in bitcoin. Sad, other people lost much, much more. I bet they're full of regret ;)

I think every site has its strength and advantages and I prefer to bet on different sites depending on markets, odds and promos. Having a lot of sites to choose from just makes it all more interesting isn't it? Multiple votes should be allowed.

Why many people don't want to gamble in fortunejack? Site works very good and offer many games ! That' so strange  ::)

I think so, no one comments say here do not want to gamble on FortuneJack but the voting showed FortuneJack at the top
really interesting to be discussed whether it is a fake voting ?
maybe someone can explain this

it could be some "haters" of the site, there isn't other explanation. But of course, other site like Just dice aren't so better than FortuneJack.

999dice without a doubt. The owner was unable to prove the existence of the claimed bankroll and left bitcointalk instead of trying to explain it (ref: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=523178.0), and the way their provably fair system works is just bad (ref: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=948965.0).

A lot of people are recommending 999dice.  How is it any different than all the other 'you'll win, we're provably fair!' gambling sites?

I've noticed most sites are all the same technique  ???
I heard 999dice commit fraud or deception, so many players who opt out of it
whereas once this site is the large dice site

this force to vote is not nice, i also don't like FJ very much, cause they promoted players wagered over 10 million btc there, and after one guy found the trick, they changed it to the "real" number- still over 600k btc wagered, i doubt it.

the other one is 999dice, which is a scam, voted for it.

Agreed, this poll isn't really productive. Really seems like there is a need for a 'real' third party platform that wasn't an affiliate in a fancy disguise, or a pollster actively trying to skew the polls.  ::)

I have never been a problem with some of this site but if asked to choose I choose yobit
I use yobit only for exchanger  not to gamble
yobit are focused on the exchange not for gambling, dice there may be only for those who are bored with stable market lol
I'll see yobit as exchanges and gambling sites in the future

Why luckyb.it needs to involve in 2016 site that you dont want to gamble? I think luckyb.it was really great site and have a great jackpot too with a max 99.9 btc if you can win it. If satoshibones include in this may be I know it but for luckyb.it that doesnt make sense

Being listed first doesn't mean that they are leading, they are only listed as first ones; the leading site is still 999dice.
btw most of the votes for FJ i reckon came from people pissed after seing the screenshot from the op.
It's funny to see votes for PD tho, but it's quite possible people didn't read the title quite right, and missed that "don't" part, but that's just my opinion.

It looks like you're the most lazy guy in this thread. OP just asking which site you don't like to gamble, reason may be any thing. No need to react so much but try to read the thread full details first.

Those numbers and tables you are trying to bring up are wrong and has nothing to do with our database, and there is no way you could have access to that kind of information.
However, we approve there was a bug counting it. One of the games (fortune wheel) was excluded from the trigger for a short period of time (when we changed our currency rates provider) and the bets were summed up without multiplying it on an exchange rate. The issue was fixed later, but the wager forgetfully remained untouched. It took some time to analyse the code and history of FortuneJack updates.

We think exaggerating total wager would be a cheap marketing trick and would never distribute wager that high on the landing page on purpose, knowing it would raise a lot of questions in a highly curious community like Bitcointalk.

FortuneJack has accepted his wrong doing only after arguing with members so may be lot of people don't trust them any more.

i dont wan to gamble on 999dice since there is ton and ton of rumour saying that it is a scam site and they even have some sort of prove for it. i may also skip some gambling site with not so gd support cuz some takes like 2 weeks to resolve an issue i encounter and that is really very irritating.

It looks like fortunejack was never a trusted site. No wonder why it is on top three spot to avoid gambling site in 2016.

Fortunejack is a trusted site and provably fair. Better than all the crap gambling site that use non provably fair here like bitcasino and the others. Every non provably fair site should be avoided and that is all. You do know that the creator of this thread have personal grudge to fortunejack that is why no wonder fortunejack got alot of votes

Don't talk crap without proof to blame other gambling sites just because they are your pay master.

Here is the proof that they were doing crap or cheating others https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=774929.msg12519764#msg12519764

Betcoin, always betcoin. They have been good to me ;)

You probably have read the poll question wrongly. It is asking for the site you don't want to gamble. Also, OP, why is the choice betcoin.tm being just text while all the other options are hyperlinks?

I think OP just forgot to put a "https://" in front of the link, that's why it doesn't show up as a link.

It looks like fortunejack was never a trusted site. No wonder why it is on top three spot to avoid gambling site in 2016.

FortuneJack can possibly be a scam, as it has many open accusatons against it. While nothing has been proven yet, we can't be 100% sure that it is clean.

I will also support for this statement. If one is accusing for all other sites than they must provide some kind of proofs not just writing few words. We have a clear proof that fortunejack was accepted his wrong doing in this past means they can do again any time same mistake if they see competition goes up.

I think, with my experience with some sites, we just feel that they are scamming us. But in real we can't proove that.. It is not fair to post against them with out proper proof.. But when we play with them.. we clearly know that they are scamming us.. it is very critical position.. we know that they are scamming. but we are unable to save other people from those scamming sites.

If you think a provably fair site is scamming you, you just need to verify your bets and check for any involuntary change of seeds, nonce skipping and/or mismatch of hashes. Those would be strong valid proofs.

freebitco.in is it a gambling site? I thought it is just a faucet site. They are not a gambling site because there income is mostly depends on advertisements rather from gambling.

Gambling sites do not depends on advertisement earnings. This is just my opinion on this site.

That's true, I also tried there dice game with free money from the site. It looks like they have a quite big house edge.

But this site looks getting lot of traffic for faucet and slowly they added quite a lot of new features but not good fo dice game.

The question is which site you dont want to gamble?right?
well then i choose primedice.com , well its simply because
everytime i play on that site, i always loose.
i think i just dont have any luck on that site so ill try to avoid the site.

I think u shouldn't. with the atmosphere here, do that will make them suffer unnecessary bad reputation just because of your own problem.

I just answer the question in the title of the thread.
And this is my own experience. So why are you telling me that i shouldn't?
I have my own opinion, besides people have their own choice.
Its clear that I said that " i think i just dont have any luck on that site" .

there are some guys stood on your side too and here is what I answered them

I think nothing wrong in that because he has just shared his opinion. He thinks that he don't have luck with that site so he don't want to play and he didn't ask either you or others not to play. Gambling itself is full of luck and if one think don't have luck there means just avoid it.

He just shared his experience with the site and he never said any thing bad about the site. We all can express what ever we feel is correct for our self.

I think lazy ppl would just read the title, look straight up the poll, maybe give a quick look through couple of comments and consider all those listed are scam. this poll look like a black list already.

exactly. and what can be stronger voice than from the most lazy guy's view stand for lazy ppl? the poll looks just like a black list, and I can just make it simple by avoid everything there for whatever reason. the real most lazy guys could even do that without leave any cmt here for u even stand a chance to recognize them, or they will.

You have many on your list I would not even deposit a few satoshi on. We will start with yobit and the shady dealings they have got going on with scam ICO after another is enough for me to not play dice there.

I wouldn't play at crypto-games for when a member found a method and the way it was handled put me off.

There have been accusations made against 999dice from what I can remember.

If I had to pick just one then that would be 999dice I wouldn't deposit or gamble at.

Sports gambling is not depending on any site because they are not controlling the game so whether it is directbet or some other sites, the end result will be same for you. So you need to learn how to control yourself from your temptation than all sites you will like.

I will dont gamble on  fortunejack.
This site has too much bugs.
I lost 30000 doge because a software bug.
Neveer bet here with altcoins.
I'm pretty sure their website do not have bug, I think it is just you. You might be just unlucky. Just saying.

I dont think that their site has any bug. And if there is a bug you can contact them and report it may be you will be rewarded more than your loss before. Because a lot of people played there but never complain anythint about there is a bug there
