Post by: ahmadmanga on January 02, 2016, 06:03:43 AM
Salam (peace) to you All ~

I'm Ahmad Al-hemmally from Libya (https://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/post/the-africoin-report-libya), It's been more than a year since I started BTCitcoin, and I've been recording my life with it in comic strips, I called them "A Life Changing Tip", each one tells about something that happened to me with Bitcoin.

I posted them in /r/Bitcoin & letstalkbitcoin.com before.. Now I'm posting them here:

EDIT: Thanks to your feedback, I made a small blog for them (https://worldchangingtip.wordpress.com/)

"Why I use Coinbase"

Deep. *High five - Coinbase 4 lief*

You're a great artist, is this a digital drawing or photocopied? If it's digital, do you use a Wacom?

Is there a certain schedule you go through, like 1 comic strip a week, or do you just go with it? Or have you just finished making these?

Thanks, I draw by hand and use scanner (and do some edits before putting them online), I don't set time to draw them.. sometimes 4 a week sometimes 1 in three months. depending on my mood and if I have something I want to draw...

--------------

I actually have a webcomic =read here= (http://bato.to/reader#25dac4dcfb2f63fb) (originally in arabic) but translating to english it is a chore so it's been a long time since I updated.

Wow, your drawings are really amazing!! It's a pity that some of the early drawings frames are a little off.. :P Really like your drawing style, would be even better if the drawings were bigger!

Hope to see more of your drawings, and with your drawings you can even start a small blog about it! :D The best thing about this is that it even teaches you a thing or so about bitcoin, interesting comic indeed! :) :)

Some nice work you've there! Have you ever thought of monetizing your comic ? Instead of putting the pictures on some hosting site why not create your own blog for the magazine and upload high quality colorful drawings?I'm sure everyone would love to read them!

Looking forward to reading more of your adventures in bitcoin!

Episode 1 was me back in 2011 when I first heard of btc :(

I think the price then was about $3-5 and I had about $300 but couldn't figure out a way to make it grow further but getting btc was next to impossible and quite frankly I do not trust random people when money is concerned..hell, I don't trust my own family where money is concerned; they would kick me under a bus to get to a quid I might be standing on if it would buy them a Mars bar :p

The overall graphic content is very good, but the text boxes is a bit messy. You should take a bit more time and write neatly in those boxes. I have to sometimes strain my

eyes to read it. This after all is the message you want to get across to the reader. Hope to see much more of your work around here, with a bit more attention to detail.

Some color would be nice too... but I guess that is your theme with this?  ::)

Keep on like that. The community needs artists to promote it too!

Great jobs! I guess I have missed the time when Changetip was so popular and there were tipping everywhere.
Nowadays it is getting less popular and it's no longer free- but I guess the company still need to earn some to cover the operation cost. I still love the way changetip enables micro-tipping.

Very good work OP expressing the journey of Bitcoin in Comic way, it is very simple and clear without any hype , just simply sending the message of how a new bitcoiner comes to know about bitcoin and then how he works and his journey. very good keep it up.

Best of luck for you future works.

I feel your experience with PayPal as My country is not completely supported (support sending only not receiving) and bitcoin was my best alternative to receive online payments. nice comics and it can promote for BTC easily without and complex tech terms
