Title: Moneypot and its investors profit
Post by: coaltin on January 05, 2016, 06:57:35 AM
Well I posted this topic with a view to join moneypot's investment scheme.Currently I see the site listed its profits as :

Site Bankroll: 153,553,022.96 bits
Wagered against bankroll: 738,519,292.07 bits
Investor Profit: 15,807,841.44 bits

As u can see there's 10% profit. My question here is if I invest then there's 10% for me too or I can loose bcoz there's particular investment site that my money would go.Everything is so cloudy and need someone to put some light on this, not much is explained on the site or I can figure out due to my low understanding in this field.

Dude, your winnings depending on wagering, not so from bankroll.
Bankroll size is for determination of max bet.
Wagering determinate profit size, Expected Profit = Wagered amount x House Edge

I think if you invest right now you won't be eligible for 10% profit, after you have invested in moneypot if they make profit you'll also make profit if someone wins a lot you'll lose your money.
simple: if a player loses you make money, if they win you lose money.

this is the general stats , so investing now won't guarantee you 10% profit cause this stats showing what happened in general
investing in gambling sites has a variance , you will face losing and winning days but in general you will make money in the long run
but there is no fixed stats

You will only be able to share the profit or loss ever since you invest. The profit or loss in the past has no effect on you. IIRC, the investor profit was over 20 btc when I checked it last week. So if someone invested earlier and divested at that moment, he would get way more than 10% profit. But if someone invested at that moment, he would actually get a loss.

if you invest it doesn't mean you will profit but the chance that you will gain instead of losing is higher because of the house edge. 10% profit isn't a guarantee for you but it is not possible to reach that if a whale gambler losses his balance by playing on moneypot's apps

Invest while bankroll is low it mean faster gains or losses most money made when site bankroll under 1000.

But there is high risk when you make investment on low bankroll. And when there is huge bankroll and you just invest on it, you will make small profit. So if you dare take a risk invest in small bankroll you will earn more for sure

do not invest. there are people who betting 0.5 BTC on 4 - 5 odds.  ;) you can loose all what you have invested.

As the site is always adjusting the max bet with the bankroll size using Kelly formula, there is no way a site could lose all its bankroll. So you can lose part of the investment when gamblers are lucky, but not all of your investment. The only way you can lose all of it is in an exit scam.
