What price range do you believe bitcoin will be in?

My vote went to $1001-$1100 which seams reasonably fair and also realistic. The price might reach a new ATH in 2016 but things will cool down and cause the price to make a dive. After that, a recovery will happen at the end of 2016 and thus at January 1st it will be MAX $1100.

if you mean as a stable value, certainly more than 1200, but as a peak or unstable, value it can touch a major new value like 5k-10k range

i will remain conservative and say between 1k and 2k

To be realistic , I will say something between 1500$ - 2000$ , main reason of this will be definitely the halving block reward and OpenBazaar may give the price a boost as-well (other projects may help too but OpenBazaar will be the biggest) .
But... I'm hoping that the price fall to like 300$ before the halving block reward happens because I feel that the price will rise as I said above and I won't have enough BTC's ;D so hopefully it falls so I can buy more .

From the voting options I choose $1201 to $1300. I hope it will go higher than that, but I will be extremely happy if my prediction become reality.

The price rise people expect here is way higher then what I expect. Many factors where the price depends on I think the price will around 620$.

Should be around $1200 , get to the peak of 2013 due to halving and mature of Bitcoin ecosystem.

It depends on a lot of things, but i think the price will be around $1000-$3000.

a bit bold guessing a price 1 year from now with just $100 range. I think it can be anywhere from $700 to $1200 so I voted for $901-$1000.

We don't know what actually halving will effect the bitcoin price but Im sure it will rise to around $1000 with a new bottom floor of around $900.

Im voted $901-$1000 and $1201 to $1300 as runner up.

it seems still a bit long, but it never hurts to predict now, if I have to conclude for the beginning of this month, bitcoin prices move up or climb, so for my taste conclusion bitcoin price in 2017 was about $ 1,000 for 1 BTC

657.35$ so I choose $601 to $700 range. It's easy to throw away a number, nobody can know what Bitcoin will do in the future. Everybody predict, most people predict for their benefit. We'll see in 1 January 2017 if we are still alive.

801-900 Because Bitcoin loves to mess with those with weak hands/those who expect the moon to happen overnight. I think we won't have too much action at the halving (500-600 range) but the end of the year will start picking up steam.

more in the range of $1000. it will be a great achievement if we can hold a price of at least $1000 the comming years. it's difficult, but not impossible.

I predict that the bitcoin price will be somewhere triple from now.
Somewhere 1200-1300 USD but we should see first if there is any jump after the halving.

I voted for 401-500 so to stay the same with a little up. I have seen that Bitcoin world is not moving much in the last 10 months or so, and, although price has gone up, I do not expect big movements for this year and so price should be about the same. However, it would be very nice if it went up against my predictions.

It's about people's beliefs so you can't judge their choices. They hope Bitcoin can grow to 3400$, it's not about reality, it's just a wish. Besides that you can't know when Bitcoin hits 3400$. When you ask in January, nobody was expecting 1200$ in November 2013.

There is big line we draw between facts and opinions.I know the value of bitcoin can boost high anytime which depends on economical factors again.We already are the second week of January and it still hasn't crossed $500 yet.To draw any wishes or any conclusions I must say,there should be a logic involved indeed.A practical approach.

Everyone are free to predict. Up to you if you will upset and in this forum there are lots of people like that so just deal with it.

But what if that fantasy will become true and there are clear factors that it will happen. You everything is unpredictable.

I do think that bitcoin is able to reach between $800 - $1200 this year. But I don't think that bitcoin will end the year like that.
I believe that we should all be happy if bitcoin closes the year on a solid $700 - $800

Yes. just any supporting good news will make bitcoin to any new height. We cannot find any logic behind that.
Not only supply and demand fix the prices of any commodity, the speculation and emotions also play a big role in deciding prices.
Once bitcoin turned as a reliable alternate investment, then surely we can see bitcoin in moon.

Yes, seeing bitcoin in moon means, it would worth like one million or ten million US dollars. I too predict bitcoin prices will hit moon. But for 2017, January 1st, we can see it around $10k levels.

As you say to hit moon, bitcoin may take some decades. But for 2017 January I would speculate it would go around some $5000 levels. Because 10 times growth is highly possible from current levels.

But I am not that kind of person who puts the price too high like $3000 or $4000 or $10000 levels.
I want to be optimistic but certainly not to be 'over optimistic'. I think we will be able to see the rise might touch $800 till the this year end.

For me anything over 750 USD this year is not realistic, thus i ignore it. You should do the same.

yes price will be up to 1000$, even halving won't change price to 2k or even 3k,  i even don't think that we will see 1k ant end of 2016, price probably will be 750$ or less, because now price is not very huge, we won't see huge price after halving too

I think the price of Bitcoin can be seen around the tag of $500 to $600 by the starting of the year 2017. This is just a prediction which can be made false by the technology of bitcoin.
