Title: Ugliest gambling site?
Post by: Straux on January 07, 2016, 06:42:24 AM
Hi guys, most of you have probably played in multiple gambling sites in your bitcoining life, so as the title says, what is the ugliest gambling site you've played on?

I have a few reservations, but none of them are truly bad sites. They have a great and friendly community and all the essentials - a faucet, fast rolls and a working site.

I'm gonna keep quiet before I post my list. I don't want to be rude :P

Ugliest by design FairLay.com without any doubt. Color scheme is a pain for my eyes.  BUT they are offering best odds. So still my favorite place for sport betting.

I dont think there is any ugliest site in bitcoin gambling. The one that ugliest only if people keep on losing there and can't even make any profit. If you mean ugliest from the graphic I think I never find any site with really bad template. They will always have this kind of background to attract people so it is impossible to make that ugly one

poorly laid out that you have to click something to see what the event it.
Its not organized unlike directbet that you know where to go as they did list on their side bar which games and events. so if you are interested on MMA fights, you can directly scroll down and look for it.  but I can see they're still on BETA, they'd improve this maybe later. one thing i hate though is that they need users to register.

To be honest, the ugliest gambling website that ever seen by me is ShitDice (https://shitdice.github.io/). Not only their website is ugly af, the reward you will be paid by joining their signature campaign (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1249833.0) is ugly too!
No offense, ShitDice. But that is the truth.

I've been several times to gamble with the site that gives a very tempting offer.

originally the site was indeed a very nice place to gamble, but after some time they are getting a very bad place to gamble.
somehow what made them is not fair in the game.

I guess to give a link to these sites, it is not good. Because it could just be people who disagree with my words.

My message is don't be glad when you first play a gambling win. Because it can be a major defeat for you

That was not the ugliest gambling site, more likely the shittiest gambling site as the owner himself said totally troll but many people like that shit  :D.
IMHO luckyflop poker room and their casino has ugly design, if you look at their casino blackjack game it looks website from 90's same as the poker room has bad looks :(.

I don't really like disrespecting people's sites/companies for no reason at all. Bad karma & all that.

Besides I don't really care what a site looks like as long as I enjoy it & preferably win on it :)

i cant agree with you, if you play in a gambling website then it means that you want to win and you want to spend your time in an interesting way, what you cant actually do with the websites that have poor design, thats why i dont play on such webs

Well i really don't want to say rude but there are some gambling sites. Those sites design wasn't good enough so i never came back to play.I think everyone try to make a good site with great design but sometimes they couldn't do it because of budget.

Its always a Important thing to look site better because someone who is browsing very first time site owners only can attract him to come back to their site with a beautiful design.I think the most ugliest gambling site i ever saw is shitdice never came back their.Though i quite playing dice at dice sites. If i ever return i would not ever visit that site again.

No offense but 999dice is looking pretty ghetto. This would have been acceptable in 2011 when everything was incredibly new and people was testing stuff out, but nowadays you are expecting a certain level of quality in the layouts. If you are going to gamble for a long time, it's appreciated that the layout has some eyecandy so you don't get tired of looking at it.

No, this design of FairLay.com is not even close to the worst I've seen among bitcoin gambling sites. Layout is cluttered and that is their man problem.
I recently came across some very ugly bitcoin slot machine, but unfortunately I looked at it and close the site almost immediately (I will try to find link in history later, tho).
It was designed like games from Windows 95, that was undoubtedly the worst looking thing I ever seen in bitcoin gambling.

AFAIK moneypot is not a gambling site, it is a bitcoin gambling wallet. There are a lot of apps in moneypot, but not all of them are ugly. One example is betterbets.io, it is a great looking moneypot app even it is the best IMO.

Pretty hard to say what site looks the least appealing as most of the big sites have something going for them. I would say most of the new dice games that keep poping up that use the simple dice script from mp and the other copy sites. Overall the sites are looking pretty good :)

I think Directbet site design doesn't compare with their service really, they should do something about it. I usually bet on sports there and it's very easy to use but it can definitely use a makeover. I've avoided to mention smaller sites or casinos that are not too well known since I don't think it's too fair.

Haven't seen any sites that ugly, although Just-dice has a pretty unattractive layout and color design, not a big fan of gray.
Moreover, UntitledDice is very bland, will NEVER bet on any of those dice sites. Their rolling process is quite slow, and they don't even have a bot mode. There's just nothing in UntitledDice that is imaginative and new, and the default white background is rather bland.

Doesn't matter how ugly the website is if you can trust them and a good review from people that have experience.
For me I don't really like playing online so I better just go to a real casino.
I think we have a lot of Web developers in this bitcointalk so contact them to make the casino better right.

It was created by a joke, by DiamondCardz. It was aimed as a satirical site because of all the dice sites created with the same script, and no work done. Since there's a huge amount of those sites, he decided to do something about it in a hilarious way. Even profited a couple bucks off it, actually.

Moneypot isn't really a gambling site, it's a gambling wallet for other gambling sites. The moneypot site itself is minimalist and white, but some of the games moneypot offers look very ncie, like dustdice.com and betterbets.io

I too find background of betcoin.tm rather ugly - these colors are hard on my eyes, I wonder if layout was designed by colorblind individual.
That leads to my another suggestion - bigger casinos like betcoin.tm should have set of skins and layouts available, at least allow users to change color scheme!

I acutally know smaller gambling sites who have this, crypto-games.net offers 6 different color schemes that each user can choose their favorite from.

I too agree on freebitco site got more house edge and very difficult to win from this site because they are basically faucet site and they expect people to spend there earnings on there site. But site design is not so bad and it looks they are keep on adding new features to retain members.

I dont think so that freebitco.in site more house edge, this site is very fair house edge and their payment system is very fast. Even they are running the Lottery system which is very fair and genuine. From first time till now this site is running without problem and i have never faced any problem with this site. I have been associated with this faucet for more than 2 yrs.

I too find background of betcoin.tm rather ugly - these colors are hard on my eyes, I wonder if layout was designed by colorblind individual.
That leads to my another suggestion - bigger casinos like betcoin.tm should have set of skins and layouts available, at least allow users to change color scheme!
yeah same with me. I also feel like it. the colors of the display is too dark, crimson color to make it too dark, I didn't like it, even I avoid gambling in betcoin, although they hold promotions
I prefer the look colourfull

When it comes to ugly , I would say 999dice site, it has not much features, plus every other day complaints are there about the site. Not sue who and where the admin is , in case we need help. So, my vote for 999dice.

The design I hate the most are the dice sites using the Coindice script or the free Untitled-Dice script without any modifications. There was a period last year that a new site using one of the two scripts launched every few days.

True, the best thing a gambling site can offer is a safe provably fair, good progressive wins, entertaining games and a lto of traffic so the jackpot keeps getting bigger, but is often overlooked the importance of aesthetics. It's really important that the site looks good because most people get tired of it if it's not eyecandy friendly, therefore investing in a professional graphics designed for your business is always a good idea.

So that the site owners can read this thread and improve ? There are already few threads on Best Gambling sites or Favorite Gambling sites, where people have contributed their views including UI as one of the important factors.Besides that, there are other dumb threads in this section such as "Gambling Gave me Cancer" so why not something better? ;)

As long as it is safe and you can play it and win.

But that is not valid reason to say any gambling ugliest because on other side some players are making very good profit, good luck to you for next time I wish you would make nice profit there, you have to understand there is no working strategy to win from the house if you had luck than you can make the difference by playing there.

Betcoin.tm was looking ugliest to me because of the design and layouts. I didn't like it as was not very user friendly when it was to use and login to continue. I was using for shortest time and then quit it long time ago. That was ugliest purely based on designing related issues that time without anything personal in this regard.

I dont think there is any ugliest site in bitcoin gambling. The one that ugliest only if people keep on losing there and can't even make any profit. If you mean ugliest from the graphic I think I never find any site with really bad template. They will always have this kind of background to attract people so it is impossible to make that ugly one
Yeah, all the gambling sites has their own surplus. Maybe someone who has loss on one site would be say it the ugliest site.
Gambling site has created to attract lots of gamblers with offering some advantages like free coin, faucets or something else.
Overall, the ugliest site maybe which couldn't pay off.

I don't want to be rude :P

nothing really.

i have seen many different gambling sites but i never play on a site that has a terrible design. all the sites that i have ever even tried are those that have the least bit of designing.

because being ugly or in other words having a bad design means the owner is too lazy to even put some time or money into making his own site at least look decent. and many of the random new sites (mostly dice who copy paste the script) are in that category which i will never even try.

For me some moneypot gambling applications are really ugly with terrible design. Now I can't remember exactly, but there was couple trys for making poker sites, that was simple designed sits with very low quality. Other that that all sites have very good and high standards.

I like sites with nice design, and for sure that is something that attract people. Choosing right colours for background is important. I will not play there if colours are too offensive and poking me in the eyes all the time, making me hard to concentrate on the game.

Since they provide the funds to all these sites then they should have set some minimum criteria for all apps to meet. If any app owners don't meet those criteria then they shouldn't include them into their list. It is quite simple if they want to do it.

Any sites that can give them profit moneypot will give them some bankroll to back up their site

Its not ugly, its just that its pretty basic because that was the main purpose of the site when it was launched. Many bitcoin sites are this way, they don't all need to have pretty colours.
