Title: VOD abusing trust
Post by: HITTI2 on January 07, 2016, 05:22:06 PM
Heya, theymos. Been a very long time man.

I am no a scammer or trying to rip anyone off.

VOD abused the trust system targeting my reputation and just ruined in a click of a button.

What may be done about this?

Thank you.

trust is not moderated so you have to work it out with Vod.

but i think he is right... trying to get a loan with a collateral you are trying to sell at the same time seems fishy (but you stated it in your loan thread so at least you are open about it and i wouldnt have negged you - but i would not give you a loan either)

I believe this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1011675.msg13470904#msg13470904) is the thread you are looking for.

That is exactly. I am being transparent. If I sold the unit, I'd close the loan on both sites, bitcointalk.org & loanbase. And close the listings I have here
http://www.head-fi.org/t/792681/fs-schiit-lyr-2-stock-zenith-tubes-74-voskhod-gary-shield-6n23ps-another-price-drop

I would close the listings here
https://loanbase.com/loan/browse/lid/22519/loan-for-goods

Man, what are you doing to me vod?

TBH I'd have given the same feedback to you(if you see my given feedbacks, I've given a lot of "disguising a sale as a loan" feedbacks), this time I didn't because there seemed no opposition from others regarding the offer.
Edit: Oh and, I believe Vod may be able to remove the feedback if you close the loan thread, and a small apology won't hurt. Talking to theymosyourself, won't help.

Yea I'll close them all if he takes it away.

Which ones does he want down? All of them, the loan and the all my sale threads?

Most of my negs are for ponzi scams, which I detest. In this case I am neutral although I agree with the others, it seems as if you might default on the loan because you are just trying to sell the items. iirc you also were trying to sell your account which adds another level of risk.

This is most likely the reason for Vod's decision though I don't doubt he will chime in on this thread eventually.

I sure hope he does. I am a great person and and really he did hurt my feelings. Makes me teary.

I did not mean anything by it I had NO idea I was breaking the rules or guidelines.

Feedbacks aren't given for "breaking rules", even the (un)official rules are very vague, so as to not allow others to "game" it. You can resolve this politely via PM you know, pretty sure would've been resolved if you were co-operative

I'll try PM him as well, lets see what he thinks

Sorry. Good luck to bitcointalk.org.

Farewell.

Don't be a tumlbrina and wait to discuss the situation with Vod. I am sure some sort of accomodation is to be had.

If I left bitcointalk for every neg feedback I got (Usually related to pissed-off scammers  ::) )

Looks like my hunch was correct again.  😕

I figured you would default your loan, get negative trust and just leave the community.  At least I saved someone from being scammed.

The issue wasn't that you wouldn't close your loan request after your sold your items - of course you would because you got your money.

The issue was you were attempting to sell your items to someone who just wanted to make some coin interest.  That's deceitful and untrustworthy.  In all your posts I never saw once how you would repay your loan.  You've admitted you make very little on social assistance.  You wouldn't want to pay it back and get your old hardware back because you already have the new hardware.  You'd just walk away.

Nothing wrong with wanting to better your life with newer devices.  Just sell the older ones to someone who wants them instead of trying to scam someone who was helping you.

I've calmed down after 14 hours or so. You have no hunch bud, hunch comes from no where. You figured, like your hunch? That I would default? No. I would have never defaulted I have income and got my BA linked to coinbase. How do you think I am going to paypack the awesome lenders over at coinbase? And like I said, if I had gotten the loan by collateral the loan thread and loanbase and head-fi.org thread listings would be [Closed].

This makes absolutely no sense at all to me, I have no idea about others here if they understand what you're trying to type.

What? Now again you're delusional, because a feeling or guess based on intuition rather than known facts.

No one ever asked and I had no idea to put that in my threads, usually someone asks then you reply to something like this but no one gave me time to answer because no one asked.

Really? Please if I had forgotten, Please post it. I recall not stating anything about how much income I get, coinbase knows. And it's not $5000 a month nor is it bad income either. It's enough to pay rent and to get what I need in life, clothing, etc.

New hardware? now what are you on about. What new hardware do I have? I haven't had anything bought in quite a while, atleast 2 months or so.

Also I have painted my picture here at bitcointalk.org so yea to prove there was no scamming of any kind.
And yea my photo means a lot to me "It's my face" and I sacrificed it for the bitcointalk community to see what I look like.

Hey, I'm not hard to find, I live in Demotte, Indiana 46310. I have nothing to hide.

Sorry but I am neg trusting you vod. And pointing to this thread. Not revenge nor hate, it's facts being appointed to this community, that you're falsifying information.

This is for who ever that doesn't know how to locate trust system.
Vod 292: -0 / +34   2016-01-07   0.00000000    Trying to sell items disguised as a collateral loan.

I understand that you're trying to help the community here, I hope scammers do get caught and get a beating. But you have attacked the wrong person.

I dunno what else to say, I have dealt with members here before and mailed off items and even, EVEN refunded someone because shit got damaged or something in mail, just look at my trust it's there.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=394904

I am opening my HP amp sale thread. But the loan, I will keep closed as I am being funded pretty well at coinbase pretty fast, hopefully few more days.

[Edit]
I add that theymos has my IP too. Which is static.

I went in and actually removed the text inside that loan thread. Wasn't thinking when I locked and closed it, my bad, was too upset to pay attention at the time.

Edit:

Maybe I did make a mistake not knowing making a mistake, ionno.
