I'm thinking about creating own gambling site. How much money do I need?

It depends on a lot of different things. Are you going to code it yourself, or to pay someone to code it for you? Is it going to be a simple dice site, or a complicated site with new games / many different games? Are you going to fund the bankroll yourself, or to take bankroll investment, or to use Moneypot? etc.

Having a standalone casino will mean that you will have to support your own bank, so you must have sizeable amount of bitcoins to attract highrollers.
If you want to own a casino, without having to manage your own bankroll, there's moneypot (https://www.moneypot.com/). They will supply bankroll to your site as long as your gamblers' bets satisfy the Kelly criterion, but they keep commission.

Now that is just the casino bank, which doesn't include

• Domain and webhosting
• Programming
• Staff
• Advertising etc.

As you can see, there is a lot of thinking involved when making a casino.

in order to creat a gambling website you might need a lot of investments into gambling website, also you need to have a huge storage because there might be people who will be really lucky at the begining

yeah creating a gambling website will need a good amount of money as they sad you need money for programers and servers etc and te most important you need you need to bankroll for players who win at first and want to withdraw their winnings

You need so much many to create a gambling site, of course if you want to make your site famous not just like the other crappy gambling site

Depends on how many games you want to be developed.So many test cases could be formed .Like is your gambling site only a dice site or has casinos and other games ?You need to spend a lot of money on the development specifically coders and design.Also don't forget the promotion and marketing.The market is saturated ,you need to do a lot of branding and promotion.

if you will not be able to invest into it at least a hundred bitcoins into it i think it might be hard to get a good start, you also might look for investors in order to make your budget bigger

it depends on the games that your website offering for example if you create a dice gambling game the costs for creation won't be as high as creating a casino or sportsbetting website

If you are planning to create a boring dice app on Moneypot using the free Untitled Dice script hosted on github, it literally costs you no money and nearly no time. If you are planning to create a great site and bankroll it yourself, tens of bitcoin is pretty much the minimum.

you need a lot of money for setting everything up advertising it and so on, if you dont have a lot of money i wouldnt bother putting a lot of work into something that wont turn out well

Most certainly you need to stabilize you bankroll with sufficient amount of stash. At least 50BTC would be considered as a good start.

If you have want to start with a lesser bankroll, try checking out moneypot.com as they have something called "Global Bankroll" which is based on the Kelly criterion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelly_criterion) formula.

What gambling site you have on mind? Do you want to have simple Dice site (with reused script and 'standard' design), or offer service with multiple games (say: Dice, BlackJack, Roulette, Slots etc.)
Do you want to want provably fair system and do you want to bought license or not etc. Do you want to have team of developers managing your site or you are team of 1. It all depends.

I think that would totally depend on what type of gambling you are doing. Personally if I was to start myself I would start with a sports betting site and build from that but as others have said a dice site could be your easier option.

i was thinking about making a gambling website too though nothing worked and i did not have a guy to make me a website for that, also it turned out that my idea of the game wasnt so good

Dice site is quite easy to setup but it need a quite a lot of money and since currently already lot of dice sites in the market so compitation will be quite high. You may need to spend lot of money in marketing to make you're site popular. Good luck for you.

You need very high money.You need to pay for a licence.License price is very expansive.
Also to buld a gambling site is expensive.

First to create, is better to think "is necessary ? Where is the difference to my casino and the other 10.000 present in this forum ?  ;D How i can attract the player?

And you need a really good team to make some good gambling sites. Well good luck when you are creating one.

IMO u need 200k usd if u wanna set a big site like ordinary casinos which have slots, blackjack, dice games and so forth, you need to hire people to help you promo, affiliate players, and so forth. You need to hire customer service agents.

i think you would need really vast amounts of money in order to set up the gambling website and start it fluently, i hope you will have enough in order to do that and i soon will see your new casino

You will certainly need to make a large investment just to make it roll out! You just need to think about what will it take to put a gambling site on Air. PLenty of stuff right? So, you just need to budget your project up

You will need a decent amount of BTC. No one will come if the maximum profit is too low.
Or you could use moneypot - they provide the bankroll, but your profits are smaller.
You will also need to spend some money to develop your site.

Their is no certain limit of money that you need it for gambling, it is upto you that what type of gambling site you want to prepare and you are going to fund fully or are you going to take investment from others.

Gambling site means what type , only dice or casinos added , or everything in one site, If you want to add everything then you will need not only money but also the manpower, coders and lot of things , after that you have to create a marketing team .

so their are lot of things which you have to add and know about it.

There is  huge competition,maybe develop something new orginal  what will bring people to your site
Otherwise it can be risky investment
