Can an influencer like Mike Hearn induce a global fear like that?
I'm with the bitcoin but this time it's hard to be optimistic

Didn't think I'd get another chance to buy bitcoin below £250 but seems I can this morning. Hmm, might it go lower, less that £200? Perhaps best wait and see.

no it is chinese once again that get every bad news as a way to inititate a panic dump, this market is easily manipulated

now all the bots are settled on the down trend, theya re playing a bearish market, until a certain point, that was the previously rock solid value 300-350 is my bet

Yeap, please do so and sell me all your cheap Bitcoins. I remember that the same statements has been made by people like you when the price fell under $200 some months ago. Pessimists proclaimed the death of Bitcoin and the entire crypto currency world. Since that the price increased by 130% ;)

i am agree with you, several month ago price was almost 200$ but everything was ok, so there are no reason to panic

Sadly it looks like it. People are too fickle and it's dissapointing to see. Had he said something to the contrary like how Bitcoin had succeeded and it was only a matter of time before we got mainstream adoption the price would have gone the opposite way but instead we get idiots with only profit in mind panicking and dumping all their coins.

It really doesn't matter as long as Bitcoin corrects itself over some time and then it'll rebound. There's always a drop and then a rise again. Most of this is attributed to all the bad news and an exchange being hacked.

It will rebound when?  And how high? 

The people who bought at the top would surely like to know.

The falling is felt so someone planning to buy bitcoins can use this time. Mike hearn just exploded something which has made drastic impact over the value of bitcoin in a short term which has never occurred before. Having hope on bitcoin is good, wait and sell. If you are in need sell everything else wait which make words of Mike Hearn false.

Hearn didn't kill anything. We all did a long time ago by ignoring serious core problems and wishing it away instead of working together to solve it.

Of course.The same game is happening again and again.
If you're smart and can keep cool you just sit it out or accumulate more in times of a lower price.
But letting emotions take control over your actions will always end in a desaster.

It has escaped from the fall and made his words false with the users belief. Someone who went back of hearn might be thinking why left the bitcoin, as price is increasing gradually.

Guess you should just hold on to it some more. Dont panic if the price has dropped. Just stick to the game plan.

look at the charts. if btc price can do what it did in times of its most severe crisis, one that escalated into a kind of civil war, just imagine what it could do when this fuck up is resolved for good!

Falling now? price rised  8$in night now, pretty sure  it will rise more for now, like someone said, thing he killed was his reputation

The more media covers anything about bitcoin the more people get intrigued.. thus eventually more people will enter.. increasing the price...

Its always someone that is trying to create panic at the buyers, like the bank is doing, I really hate these guys, look at the market price again its already back up and it will go up even more just be patient.

no he didn't, after 1 motnh price is 450$ again(nearly) so he didn't kill bitcoin, just created huge panic for bitcoin users, it's our foult that bitcoin's price dropped so low and so fast

Nah he just alerted us and had some very detailed and valid reasons. I for one am glad he was the one to do it. And not
some unknown guy. Mike has a prety good rep. and his arguments made a good point about the need for a bigger blocksize.

You know I was just a tad worried for about a day after he made those comments,  but bitcoin has proved to be remarkably resilient in the face of bad news and bad hype.  Sometimes it baffles me that the user base is so strong,  and yet it is.  Bravo, Mr. Hearn!!

no he didn't trust me, he just created a huge panic, to buy cheap coins, and price fell yes, but price is okay now again, only thing he killed was his reputation, he lost it for sure

oh no he didn't killed bitcoin, yes price was very very small and everyone was afraid and in panic, but look at price now, 430$ and still going up, als halving will happen in July, and trust me, that will rise price of bitcoin for sure, maybe to 800$ or more

Mike Hearn gave me a good opportunity to buy the bitcoin on the cheap. I will hold those coins in the future.
