Title: With your gambling, do you binge or prolong the spending of your funds?
Post by: Straux on January 20, 2016, 12:40:47 PM
Hey bitcointalk, as the title reads, do you binge (save up your bankroll and gamble it all once you have alot) your funds, or do you slowly gamble, say a 10 dollars a day?

I personally binge :D

I think accumulating all small wins and betting on one game is quite bad idea according to me because in gambling we all know without luck we can't win anything so betting all your winnings at one game to try you luck is not a good idea according to me. I always go with small amounts only and never bet bigger amounts.

I slowly gamble, I don't have a set amount that I spend on gambling everyday
Simply because I don't gamble on a daily basis
I bet small amounts though, I'm just afraid to lose so I try to minimize those risks.

I play according to my gambling bankroll which hugely decreases my Risk Of Ruin.

I will slowly gamble in small amounts instead of placing a huge bet. It will be heartbroken for me to loss a large amount in a bet especially when I have spent my time to accumulate those btc.

Binge-watching shows, binge-playing video games, binge-gambling, makes me wonder, what don't I binge?

I think it really depends on people. But I prefer to make slow bet but make it sure win or at least I get profit though, rather than stock so many bitcoin but in the end you just lose everything that take so long to stock it. If you can stock it really fast may be it is worth enough but if you stock it a whole year or whole month just to get a little bit I dont think it is worth enough

I prefer to gamble slow. This is making it possible for me to enjoy the gambling more rather than take my chances and lose it all at once.

I see gambling as pure entertainment, it's fun and I don't feel the need to have to win but that would be just a bonus for me.

I try to be sensible & spread my budget but if I'm losing I binge unfortunately. My money distribution management is pretty shitty.

I'm here for a good time not a long time though ;D

I am used to play slowly but as I am in sports betting now.I don't need big bankroll to keep continue. It is good to place a mixer of bets so it is good so far this way.

I play slow and bet small. i think playing slow is a good idea, you can gamble for long time and don't have to lose a lot..

i prefer to gamble as slow as possible, in this way i lose only small amounts of money and i can play with the same deposit for a pretty long time, that is my strategy that i always use

i usually do as big bets as possible, i dont like wasting my time on gambling as it does not give me any entertainment, i gamble only if i want to get some more money to the amount i have already, though i usually lose more than i need to add up

I am a slow gambler. I am not delusional enough to actually expect to make big money gambling. It's a form of fun and therapy, and therefore prolongation suits me fine.

One way or another, we're all going to (most probably) lose. So what's the point in gambling 0.001 each day? There's no thrill of the risk. I like to wait a couple of weeks, then gamble multiple bitcoins at one time. With more money, you can do more things, and there's more risk. That's the thrill of it.

I guess I am in the second category. I don't make huge bets but only risk 0.01 - 0.05 btc for fun on each of my sports bets.

No, binge gambling is not for me. I would die if my hard earned or won money would go down in one bet. I fell better if I can won some small sums of money at a steady pace.
I don't like to risk like that losing large sum at once would be unacceptable to me. Better safe than sorry.

I think it is not a good idea to bet bigger amount even after you know that you lose most of the time in gambling. Just try with small amounts to reduce your loses.

I usually go with small bet in sports and maximum bet will be around 0.01 to 0.05btc range but mostly I stick with my lower range bet.

I too never bet big amounts but very small amount on each game like less than 0.01btc and so for never crossed that limit.

Sometimes bet bigger amount will end you up with a good profit but you need to use low odd for sure like 1.1 or 1.2 that is better after couple of small bet. I tried this method for while and it seems everything is smooth. But keep that in mind you can't always get winning in a gambling so if you make some profit you could stay away for a while before you continue it again

I always use the same amount. Normally 5% of account size in each. Can give you a nice profit without wiping out you acc.

i think i would says i'm slowly gamble and i spend 0.01-0.02 btc for everyday also this is my high limit capital for gamble because if today i had lost it i won't continue my gambling and stop it

Actually, both.Seems like a diplomatic answer but it entirely depends on the situations. For example : If I'm betting at 90% chances to win at a dice game and if the previous two bets are lost,I'm quite sure the next will be a win ,in that case I go binge.Doesn't work out most of the times but that's when risk taking comes into picture.

In my experience best thing to do is to set up some modest profit goals and then slowly gamble towards them, binge wasn't for me.

I think, we shouldn't set any goal in gambling because it is not meant for making profits. But just bet or play with small amounts some times and if you one is lucky than he/she will make good money or just think you spend some money on fun or entertainment and move one with your other activities.

i always try to take it slow, so i bet small and always keep an eye on my bankroll so that i can always have more if i lose the previous bet.

I gamble for the entertainment {If I win, it is a bonus} ... I will much rather gamble small quantities every evening after work with a bottle of wine,

than blowing everything on one bet. The adrenaline junkies out there go for these one-bet-wonder strategies, I on the other hand like to take it slow.

The adrenaline junkies are also more likely to get addicted to gambling, because they doing it for the cheap thrills and not for the fun.

I personally binge :D

I put aside some extra money every time I can and then gamble it slowly to try to get some profit. If all goes good I increase my bankroll without the need to put aside anymore money, an then I start collecting the profits. If I lose it, I refund my bankroll when I can, but I never bet it all in one time, I gather enough so I can make some bankroll management when I start gambling.

I'm a slow gambler, I do it for fun and not really for the reason that I HAVE to win.

Even though winning is always a plus, I like to play for fun and without pressure.
