First post for annoucements.

The escrow is yourself? How the transaction works? Buyer need to pay the price and the buyer can have a goods? How about account trade?

Is there any vouch for your site ?
If I want to sell my product here, how much the fee ?

Overall the site quite good and simple  :)

Escrow is in-house and automated, we don't keep any money, it's work like that:
1. Buyer clicks "Buy now", and pays to BTC address (it's escrow address).
2. Seller gets notification about sold his item, so he delivers item to the buyer and he mark item "as shipped".
3. Buyer receive item and notification, and if everything is okay, he click button "release escrow". Now in 1 second money from escrow's btc address going to seller's btc address.
4. Profit for everyone.




Site is 1 day old, we are waiting for you :).


You can list any product for free, after sold fee is 2%, so if you sold to someone 1 product for 1$, you will get 0,98$.



You can list and sell on biterial any account you want.

So the transaction is complete until both of seller and buyer clicked the notification, right.

Yeah, buyer release coins to seller after receive a item. There is no better shopping system in the world I think. Thanks for your interest. Back to biterial soon, hope there will be many sellers and good products.

No doubt your website is good but your in house escrow is not well organized because it could only be useful to some extent for the physical goods but for the digital goods it might be abuse due to false claims.

What do you mean? There is no better system, and every big marketplace using it, for example Alibaba, Aliepress etc. In bad cases moderator can check the item and decide what to do. Tell me what situations  do you mean. Thanks.

I do not have anything against the legitimacy of your website but I am trying to say that even buyers might scam the seller by false claim on the goods delivered, I have heard such thing before at amazon shop and they ask for refund.

Yeah, there is no payment system that would prevent on that kind of situations, but there is a feedback system too, so seller can give negative feedback to bad buyer. But of course in that kind of situations ours moderators can check the item if possible and decide what to do. We will do our best, I assure you. Thanks for your attention.

I'm sorry, but I guess I'm not quite sure what the purpose of this is?  It seems that this website does just as good or a better job than some other website does on the Marketplace section of the forum.  It seems that people on here really value there trust/reputability on here... I feel that this is a more trustworthy way to do business, rather than trusting one central escrow.

You have to register to buy goods. And no, it's not bitshop script, just some of inspiration with design :).

Just try it and decide. We do not keep any money, everything is encrypted. There is no reason to not trust, but of course you have to check yourself :).

A new site will take a while to be trusted and I have not heard anything about this until now.  There are other sites which I have heard about such as bitbay and open bazaar, this seems like one of those pop up shops you get.

There is no way to steal coins from escrow's wallets. Payments are encrypted and hot wallet  is not possible to withdraw from the IP server (localhost only).

Wow. Finally we got a direct bitcoin marketplace. You guys are did a very good job. But when I visit the site I found most of categories and sections are empty. No product for sale. I hope you are working on it and bring some products to us..

The trust details of a seller/profile should be more visible, and maybe show how many complete trades the seller has done, and their reviews.

How exactly is Biterial supposed to stack up against OpenBazaar? Don't you think it will be hard to build traction when so many are already invested in and awaiting the full release of OpenBazaar?

Good news: I received the item bought on the Biterial website (with a little extra thrown in).

Biterial is only for legal item, like domains, gift cards, etc. and we not tolerate any illegal things which OpenBazaar I think will. So our buyers and sellers is different target than OpenBazaar.

You are welcome. Just register (it takes you 20 sec), and when you are logged add your BTC address to profile, next just click "Sell item" in menu, and type your item, add pictures, type category (E-Book) and confirm. Thats it.

The site looks okay for now but there is literally no activity, all I see is like 8 advertisements in total, you need to start some sort of promotions/ads to attract more people.

Nice website im interested to sell something but visitor is too low and seller are few, you must promote your site for better exposure.

Many of products are sold, I think most of them was sold, so chances for you are big, if your products are good :). Don't hesitate to add product, it's a few minutes of work. And you will get notification to your email about items sold, so you don't need to refresh biterial everyday.

30.03: Feedback adding system repaired - now you can choose user to add a feedback if you made a few transactions.
30.03: Added sold items counter. It shows in listings over a price. Sold item counter count only succesfull sales, where escrow was released.

You are right, in case of unfair seller we can ban him, but we can't disallow selling every digital goods. On bitcointalk people are selling it too, and it's safe if seller  is trusted. Thanks.

biterial.com are scammers. They stole my Btc. They do it like this: you pay him bitcoins, Btc are held in escrow (as if). Then Btc buyer ask you to send your Paypal email and then you will receive 2 transaction from different persons as if you sold ebay items. Then allegedly buyer will open dispute for refund transaction. You are forced to cash back, because paypal will held account access limited. When I ask site support to refund my Btc from escrow they demanded send him video of my Paypal: 1.login to paypal 2.check history 3. dispute details to make replacement :). After some time they release escrow without my consent.

You paid for item to escrow, and we asked seller for proofs of deliver item. He sent us video, but you told that it was chargebacked, so we needed you to prove it, we can't do refund without any proof, and you still didn't deliver proof. Thank you.

Screen can be photoshoped, so that's why propably wanted video. And we did not release escrow, system did it automatically after some time, becouse you did not respond to our questions.
