Title: [WTS] 9 top of the line rigs, whole or parted out (now with pricing)
Post by: yochdog on January 04, 2013, 08:35:41 PM

Please take a look and let me now, it could still be better for me than buy it in local market.

I've now paid for the 2 rosewill lightning power supplies. Bitcoin deflation smiled upon him since I bought the bitcoins for them about a week ago; I paid $241.40 for 17 bitcoins; They're now worth $295.80. Transaction ID is c741c2e0da0dabfea1a4f1bba3f975f781aa3b8030f0262e4ecab3f3d7a7aa76

What a bizarre deal.  I am calling the USPS on Monday.

Thank you. I also ordered a rosewill from newegg because I am in dire need of one.

So I contacted both the USPS as well as the Postal Annex from where the PSU's were shipped.  USPS claims that the tracking report showing still in Idaho means it has actually been delivered, but it just was not scanned.  The Postal Annex does not buy this explanation and is escalating their inquiry tomorrow.

I will keep you posted on what I find out.

Got the tracking number. Feb 9 and still nothing, tracking info says its still stuck in Idaho...

What a bizarre deal.  I am calling the USPS on Monday.

Thank you. I also ordered a rosewill from newegg because I am in dire need of one.

I also called them earlier, but the lady on the phone didn't sound like she looked too hard into it. She just said "I see package services were used. You can call us again in 2 days if the package hasn't been delivered." Also, their voice recognition blows. I had to look up how to get a human because the voice recognition was so terrible.

Received another update from Postal Annex:

They finally got ahold of a real person at the Post Office.  The Post Office has officially "lost" the package, as it was scanned into the system leaving Idaho then not scanned again.  They are looking into the matter and hope to find what went wrong.

In the meantime, Postal Annex has filed a claim and will follow up tomorrow.

They also asked me to make sure you have REALLY not received the package.  IE, is it hiding under snow?  Or in the bushes at your front door?

freaking bizarre.

I'll do the once over when I get home from work, but the snow melted pretty low recently, and im sure I would've seen it if it was haphazardly thrown in the snow. Mail delivery here always puts it on the open balcony by the door. Also, whats going to happen with my 17BTC? Will I get that back?

A refund depends on the outcome of the postal service investigation.  If they eventually deliver it, and everything is as agreed, no refund.

If they lost it, I will try to pursue some sort of claim (not sure if they have a nominal amount they will pay like Fedex).

If all else fails, we can determine the dollar price the deal was made at and discuss a refund on those terms.

Yochdog- it's been awhile my friend. Friendly note- i think your velociraptors might be a tad overpriced. SSD are now less than $1 per GB.

/I got out of mining way too early.

I think you are right......I have no idea what those things go for, so I just pulled a google shopping price.

Want to make an offer?   What is reasonable?

Also, is US domestic shipping included in the price?

Also, would you accept PP?  I'm low on BTC ATM and I've been on this forum forever, I can PM you my heatware or overclock trader profile if you want it
And also would you ship to Canada? (I would pay for shipping, probably $20-ish)

Tell me about it.

The claims process involves describing the products, and these people are clueless.  It was like talking to 5 year olds.

The best part is they say the box probably came apart and so it all goes to Atlanta for "cataloging".  The box I sent was damn near bulletproof.  I don't want to know what they would have to do to it to make it come apart.

Think I only have one purchase on here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=44929.20

I have bought from maptor as well (japanbit) but I don't think anything was posted about it here

And of course I would pay the fees (conversion + gift fee)

Seems like a Poor investment, so if you do some math, that's 1834560 Megahashs for a month at 24hours of uptime or 10.21BTC a month for the rigs, meaning its going to take me 6.5 months to earn back the BTC??? wouldnt I be better off getting an asci....

Not sure the value is in mining at the moment.  People are mostly buying them for the component value.

how long have the 7970's been mining?  did you get them when they were first introduced?

i'd like to grab a 7970 or 6990 for gaming at some point

(though I do get the feeling I should probably wait a couple months, seems like some ppl are still buying GPUs to *start* mining with)

I'd like to buy the Msi Big Bang Xpower ms7666 v1.1 if it's still available.

Edit: *and the Xeon, RAM and Hard Drive.  So, $380, then?  Send me an email address and I'll paypal you the funds.

Just doing my periodic check in this thread about the mysterious disappearing power supplies. Has USPS gotten back to you? Is there something that can be done to expedite the process of getting me either my money back (or power supplies)?

Still waiting to hear back on the results of their investigation.  Apparently they get up to 30 days to look into the case.  I will call them again next week if I do not hear from them sooner.

Has anyone actually received their items from this seller?

I have still not received a response on the two 7970's.

You have not received a response because I am firm on prices, as I have stated throughout the thread.

Oh, sorry.  It would have helped if you had just told me that.  (lot of pages to go through.)

It will take me a couple of days to get the full amount ($600?)  Can I buy one now, or would you rather wait and ship them both together?

EDIT:

Going to take a small loan out to cover to total.  I can give you $450 now to hold my order, and the rest tomorrow.

Let me know if you have two more of the visiontek 7970s available, not sure if you saw my PM or not, so I thought I'd post.

Hey all,

Sorry for my lack of response to many of you.  I have been sick for the last few days, and am just now recovering.  Also, I need to go take stock of what is left, as I have made many deals and lost track of what is gone.

I am going to update the list on the front page in the next few days, and will then be able to finish up selling everything.

Rig6   Motherboard   Msi Big Bang Xpower ms7666 v1.1        $200
CPU   Intel LGA 1366 Xeon Engineering Sample           $150
   GPU   Visiontek 7970                                 $275
   GPU   Visiontek 7970                                 $275
   RAM   4GB                                                 $  15
   HD   150GB                                                 $  15
   Case   OEM 4u Case                                         $  50
   PSU   OEM Dell 1000w                                 $  85

Rig9
GPU   XFX 7970 oem Cooling                         $275

How much for rig 6 with the remaining gpu from rig 9? All together. I will be mining LTC with it. The difficulty has been going up like crazy, so I am interested in the power consumption and average hashing you get with the rig. Also, any particular reason why you don't have more cards in rig 6 to begin with? I see 5-6 pci-e slots on the msi website.

Hey all,

After doing an inventory, I am going to hold off on selling the remaining equipment.

If that changes I will start a new listing with the items that are for sale.

Thanks!

or maybe he just weeded out the ones that were poor ltc miners.   ;)

He's cranking out over 12.4MH/s now.  ~220 ltc/day

Edit:  oops I think he saw me staring.  he's starting to droop a bit.   :D

I promise you he did not weed out the ones that were "poor miners".  Save one card that "only" does 650 kh/s, the rest of them are mining at 699 kh/s for me, while being UNDERVOLTED!  These cards are in-freakin-credible.  Simple as that.  I've been trying to get ahold of him to see if he has one more to sell me, even if it doesn't have an arctic accelero cooler on it.  Do not even hesitate for a second when it comes to buying from this guy!  :)

So yochdog.... what's it gonna be?!  Got another card (just one!) to sell me? :)  (Doesnt have to be an arctic card!)

EDIT: And you are well low of his actual hashrate, :)
