All US Paypal account holders have been notified that a settlement has been finally reached in a class-action lawsuit in which the Plaintiffs alleged that the payment processor, Paypal, had improperly handled a large number of disputed financial transactions on US Paypal accounts and had improperly frozen funds or suspended or closed verified accounts. Plaintiffs have also claimed that Paypal didn’t provide yearly error-resolution notices or monthly account statements as advised by the Electronic Fund Transfer Act. The class action settlement was filed against Paypal Inc. (Paypal) and eBay Inc. (eBay).
