Title: [2016-02-07] New Bitcoin Doubler Is An Obvious HYIP Ponzi
Post by: jdebunt on February 07, 2016, 05:33:38 PM
For some reason, there are still plenty of digital currency owners who invest in obvious scams. Whenever a new service launches that claims to double your money in a very short amount of time, it is clear for everyone to see this type of Ponzi scheme will run out of money sooner rather than later. The latest Bitcoin Ponzi scheme to pop up is nothing more than a random thread on the Bitcointalk forums.

If people did not understand that with all the previous scam every Bitcoin doubler is a ponzi, they're quite dumb ::)...

It is a constant around bitcointalk it seems, thankfully these sorts of things are confined to a single section. I still try to flag anyone running or promoting these types of schemes, as they are often dishonest about the amount of risk one will encounter when "investing".

Ask yourself this question, If I had a magic Bitcoin engine that would double my money, why would I even tell anyone else about it? I would just use it myself and stay under the radar. It is not a Ponzi scheme, it is a scam. If you use these sites, you deserve to lose some money. It takes a bit of common sense to cure your greed.

Avoid these sites at all cost, but if you consider doing it, rather dump it in a charity. ^hmmmmm^

I mentioned that earlier in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1356016.msg13814064#msg13814064

One can argue, as 2-3 others did that just by participating in these programmes you are a scammer also since you know that if you get paid it will be by another losers deposit.
