Are there any video games around the topic of Bitcoin?

E.g. where you can collect (virtual) Bitcoins, or where the Bitcoin sign just shows up as an easter egg somewhere in the game?

I think it is time for that to come to spread the word around Bitcoin. I am not talking about implementing the technology of Bitcoin and the Blockchain into the game (which would be great, too, but also more advanced) - I am talking about games that serve as an homage to Bitcoin.

Most of the games are  on Android , for what comes for computer as far as I know there is one MMO game about bitcoin (web based) but I forgot the name.

As for me I'd be interested in some (good) andoid games, as I don't know any.

It seems like they removed it from Google play though , so I'm not sure if they still give Bitcoins while playing the game or not , the thread wasn't active since two months now .

So far bitcoin was utilized in mobile games. The idea behind it you can play these games for free and you will be rewarded with real bitcoin if you reach some goals in game.

no really, but there are games around altcoin like hyper, you can earn good oif you play 4+ hours, at counterstrik for example

but it is mostly against bot i think, so a bit tedious after a while

do you mean computer game likes farmsatoshi or satoshi canon? i know if android such games exist, like coin flapper and coin hop or bitcoin hunter

nowadays there are few games introduce in android, but for computer i am not really sure

Talking about farmsatoshi, I haven't been able to withdraw anything for the past week. I sent an email to the owner yesterday and am still waiting for a reply. Is anyone else in the same case?

Theres one game i have been playing on my phone called bitcoin billionaire on android where you mine bitcoins with your computer its kinda addicting and time killer.

Before I came back to the Bitcoin community in October 2013, I played a game called HackEx and it featured Bitcoin as it game world currency. It is a hacker simulator. A game where you hack into another players account and transfer their Bitcoin to your account. You can also install spyware on another player virtual phone. You can then use Bitcoin to upgrade your Firewall, Antivirus etc.

I think this game is worth to mention as I hardly see anything related to them here at Bitcointalk.

yeah, 10 kill is 1 hyper, hyper were worth 10k satoshi before, now only 5k, so you need to kill 2k people now to have 0.01 btc, it's harder, previously was 1k

If you are using iOS, you can try Sarutobi. Flying monkey to collect coins and exchange for actual bitcoins... Quite boring but the pay out is good.

I found and always play it in my android the real flappy bird that pays you for a little bit of bitcoins and also the fake bitcoin mining game in android..
If you are looking for a video game that you need a coin to put in slot before the game start i think for now there's no slot video for now. maybe in future..

played some bitcoin millionare , its a game about a guy trying to get rich on bitcoins its fictional ofc :)

these kind of games will motivate us to work more towards bitcoin and in future people who have more number of bitcoins are gonna be millionaire if everything goes well what do you think?

i have seen a couple of cell phone games which were mostly faucet like with a tiny game.

also there were  a couple of simple flash games which run in the browser. i remember one of them was a miner which drilled the ground to go down and find valuable objects which were worth in satoshi.

There are a lot of shitty Bitcoin run of the mill Android games that are so bad I will not even bother playing.

I have same opinion about it. I play several ones and im very disapointed. Someone need to put more effort and make much better game that will atract more people. There is good strategy games, it would be nice to buy things in game with bitcoin and to earn bitcoin in such games. I would like to play something like clash of clans where u can spend and earn btc, or maybe some other alt coin.

Let's just hope Angry Bitcoins will appear soon. We'll shoot bitcoins at little angry Trumps.

Most of Android based games are just disguised faucets to tell the truth...

At least they're giving away something. Even if it's not much.

I didn't realize bitcoin was incorporated into some games.  That's a nice way to promote bitcoin.

I heard about lot of games available for android. I haven't tried any. Just searching the market place of windows platform to find one, but nothing is there. I think some one can develop one which will give them a earning as many bitcoin users will try it.

I'd love to see a service that lets you bet against other players on xbox live.  I could finally get paid for my NBA2K skills.

I think the challenge with that is that there would be a larger amount of cheaters or people who fake internet or hardware issues if they're going to lose, because people are scumbags unless they're winning the money lol.

If there was a way to enforce everything and actually get a system that would work like that, I would play so much more than I do now, which would probably end up killing me.

You can play on Bitcoin Hunter and other games that are available on Xapo World...
Such games give you good amount of bits if you play them regularly... ;)
