Title: Looking for Help - Reverse Engineering an ASIC and Building PCB Post by: kilo17 on February 15, 2016, 08:49:54 AM I am going to try and briefly explain what I am looking to do. Myself and a few others are early in the process of building a miner for the community. That project has a great team and is currently underway. If those people want to post here I will leave it up to them.
It initially started as a project to develop a board for BM1384 chips that I was going to use for another project I am working on as a hobby. That got side tracked by wanting to use a more current generation chip. Since that time we have put together a team that is working on bringing that board to the community instead of for my "hobby" project. I am not looking to undermine that project nor interfere with its progress but I am looking for another person to do a similar project for the "hobby project" so that the other team can concentrate on the miner for the community. Essentially the ASIC would need to be reverse engineered and a board designed and tested. I am open to either paying someone directly or trading them ASICS for the work. I am open to negotiations in regards to payment. Ideally the person could devote a fair amount of time to the project to get it going as soon as possible.
