It's a good policy, and no doubt they will keep it

Apple refused to develop software for the FBI/NSA which would give access to their phones

I am not a big fan of Tim Cook. In fact, I hated this guy when he banned Bitcoin online wallets in iPhones. But in this case, I am with Cook. The FBI is being unreasonable. Their real intention is not to retrieve data from the San Bernardino County shooters, but to spy on ordinary people by destroying the advanced encryption technology.
